The customer ordered the product online from one of our authorized dealers on Feb 6., We are not aware and cannot be responsible of what this particular dealer communicated either personally or via their website to this customer.The promotion for a free seat had been discontinued by us and
communicated to all our dealers on Jan3, so over weeks prior to the purchaseAll references regarding the free seat had been removed from our website, and while product pictures are still showing the seat, it had been reclassified from "Complimentary" to an "Optional" Accessory on all website product literature (please see link on our website at http://batcaddy.com/products/Bat-Caddy-X4-Classic.html Also the manual mentions "Available" AccessoriesHence a free seat was not advertised at least on our website at the time of purchase.n Feb the customer posted a negative and hostile comment about the product and our company on our Facebook pageIn response we offered him to return the cart at no charge to himThis offer had been coordinated and agreed upon by the dealer who made the sale.s a gesture of goodwill and our generally known customer orientation we will ship the customer the seat assembly at no charge.We also still offer the customer a free return (for unused and non damaged product) which would be our preferred option in this caseAfter that our published Terms & Conditions and warranty will apply WITHOUT exception.We tend to prefer working with our customers directly on an amicable and customer oriented basis rather than in the public domainThe seat is a minor item and non essential to the caddyThere was no need for the customer to escalate this to Facebook and the Revdex.comWe are known for being customer oriented and in always in favor of the customer when in doubtIn this case the customer did not even purchase the product from us.Sincerely,*** ***President
