Review: I am the executor of my deceased father [redacted] Martinez. Since October of 2014 I have been trying to get my fathers estate in order. I received a billing notice from Rowan County Finance office informing me of outstanding charges on my father's behalf. Since then I have tried numerous times to try to resolve this issue so the estate can be closed. I contacted VA Patient advocate Eladio C[redacted] and left numerous messages looking for a name or department I can reach out to in order to get this resolved. Not one return phone call. I also contacted Mrs. Patricia B[redacted] who helped me with handling of my dad's burial. I finally was able to reach Mrs. B[redacted] who informed me I have to call the Centralized business number in Virginia [redacted] ext [redacted]. I told Mrs. B[redacted] that I have called this number I do not know how many times and I am put on hold, sometimes holding time has exceeded 30 minutes, I can never get through. I then contacted the Salisbury billing office and left messages that I all I want to do is to submit these unpaid bills so I can close the estate. If these bills are not paid, I am responsible for payment. I am frustrated, do not have the money to pay these outstanding bills. My dad was retired veteran with 100% disability and served our country, these bills are the responsibility of the VA hospital. I need intervention and a resolution to this problem can you assist me?Desired Settlement: I want the VA hospital to pay these bills so the estate can be closed and not be help responsible for payment due to the VA's billing department's inability to return a phone call or allow me to submit these invoices.
