I would like to file a complaint against a vet, Christopher L [redacted] , Emergency/ Critical Care and his employer, VERG North, [redacted] Tel: ###-###-#### My dog was running at the park on Saturday.(10/**) Saturday, early morning, he vomited 2X -- I called VERG because his life had previously been saved by DrS [redacted] at VERG and he had liver issues I was told to bring him in However, what I experienced was beyond belief -- they assigned me to Christopher L [redacted] -- I cannot even call him a dror vet -- he is a hack!!!!! He gave a pretend exam with my dogs thick coat -- I asked for fluids for my dog and I was DENIED -- he told me he did not need them (????? after vomiting you hack!!!!!) I told him [redacted] had a discharge from one of his nostrils -- he DID NOT EVEN LOOK -- told me it was allergies and to buy something over the counter-- told him my dog had blood in his urine from primary care vet test and I wanted it tested -- DENIED AGAIN--- he said

This place is the worst pet hospital ever .If you want to keep your dog in life please stay far away from this place .They over hydrated my dog until his lungs was filled up with water and because of this fluid overload he almost developed ammonia and and now has heart failure and this was on top of the kidney failure he was already going threw .They only began to monitor him once the symptoms had presented itself (coughing ,and unable to breath .Now this all happened at 4am in the morning I rushed there and they told me they didn't have a cardiologist which if your hydrating a pet you should have one on hand if something like this happens .I rushed my dog to the animal hospital and they told me to put my dog down right away that he wouldn't make it but guess what he still here with us and its been with us for a week now and is walking ,eating ,drinking and using the bathroom .I would not recommend taking ur pet to verg south or north because they only care about MONEY NOT YOUR PET WHICH OF COURSE IS A FAMILY MEMBER .I am so disappointed in how this place has treated my dog and please keep ur pets away from here .Also Dr.c*** the kidney specialist who he was seeing him for the last years didn't even bother to call to see how my dog was doing like he didn't even exist.Mind you I was willing to pay what ever it was to keep my dog in life but they took advantage of this

Review: I brought my dog in for an emergency due to dog was walking wobbly and falling down. Dr Philip S F[redacted] said he not sure what it is but her eyes was moving from left to right so he performed all unnecessary test which had nothing to do with the reason I took her there such as 5 x-rays of the of the stomach area, Blood pressure test, injection shots and then informed me to keep the dog overnight and I said absolutely not and his faces change because he lied to me and said that my dog was still wobbly and not walking right so when they brought my dog back to me she was just fine and walking normal and not wobbling at all, so I know he was trying to scam me to get the most money from me and then charged me $875.49 The next day I brought her to her primary vet and he told me it was [redacted] and that the emergency vet Dr. Philip S F[redacted] should of know that due to the the movement of the eyes going left to right and wobbling and she should recover in about an hour which she did and my dogs vet also told why did he took 5 x-rays of the stomach which had nothing to due with [redacted]. so in closing Dr. Philip S. F[redacted] robbed me for doing all unnecessary tests which had nothing to do with the illness I took her there for and also wanted to keep her overnight so he could perform more test so he could rob me for more money, my Vet also told me there is nothing you can do for [redacted] and will subside within an hour.Desired Settlement: Refund my money of $875.49 due to unnecessary test which had nothing to do with [redacted] and which there are no treatments for [redacted] which goes away on it's own.
