I called this company because I saw their ad in a Tampa paperI was having trouble with an installation done earlier by Universal A/C which would not honor their guaranteeSeaBee came out and inspected my HVAC system and made a diagnosis then a repair which finally after four years left me with a beautifully working systemThe tech sent to my house was a guy named Charlie who was perfectly knowledgeable about my difficultyHe was patient, pleasant and low keyNever had an HVAC experience as pleasantI highly recommend him and his company

The most obnoxious company you can ever deal with, you tell them you don't want service and they argue with you, then you ask to speak to a supervisor and she gets on the line and argues with you even moreStay away from this company

These people are nothing but a bunch of [redacted]! On June 7th, I had a maintenance check done using this company. My unit was working perfectly until after and during the maintenance check. The guy tells me that my unit is leaking. I truly believe he did something for that to happen. Water came through all down into the den ceiling. I called the insurance company and they looked at everything. And now we need to have new carpet put into the house upstairs. The mitigation crew came in and stop the line. Which means the line was stopped up when the technician was here. Since he saw a leak, he should have cleared the line, which he was supposed to have done in the first place. That's why it seems suspect. It's as though something was jammed in the line to make it shut down so there will be a leak and we would need to pay for leak to stop period Me like an it call them back. I told them what was going on thinking that they would check out and find out what the problem was. Of course, they told me I needed to have a couple of new parts. Which equals to $568. About 20 minutes after they left, the air conditioner went out again. Prior to leaving, the technician told me that I needed a new motor fan. And that if I got a stick and turn the fan, or hammer. It might start . Well why in the world didn't he just tell me in the first place that I needed a fantastic motor and not to add all the other stuff in. And of course it was over the weekend, so there was no where to get a motor fan put in, and of course I was not going to allow them to come back and do that. So my family and I spent the weekend at a hotel due to the fact it was scorching hot in the house. Stay away from this company they are a bunch of crooks. My adjuster brought his guy over and even looked at the amount that they charged me and shook his head and said that they charged me twice for something. They charged twice for what they have done. So ,there is going to be an investigation, because they are ripping people off. They are nothing but a bunch of crooks. And of course they were to call me back this morning about the fan motor, but I have not heard anything as of yet. Which I will not let them touch my unit again. Again, my unit was doing just fine until they came. They called and asked me if they could come and do a maintenance check on my unit. And me like a nut, said yes. So if these people call or contact you just hang up!!

I have waited to late to try to resolve this problem, I just want others to be aware of this business's practice of using technicians that are making false claims to the customer to try to sell things that are not needed. One technician showed me on his phone a picture of someone's unit that was rusted out, and tried to convince me that I needed a new unit. This past week I was allowed to see inside my unit and there is only a tiny bit of rust. Another technician back in 2014 convince me that I had mildew and needed a Apco system which I am still paying for. He said the cost was 2695.00 dollars and gave me a small discount. A reputable AC dealer looked it up on line and it could be purchased for around 500.00 dollars. BIG MARK UP! I am not looking for any solution to this but I learned a big lesson.
