In regards to [redacted]
We recognize that purchasing a vehicle while over-seas serving your country is a stressful situation. It concerns us that we, at the time, were not able to ease Mr. [redacted]' mind during this transaction as there are many variables in every deal, and sometimes people feel...

let down. Regrettably we are not always successful, but most of the time we are able to make our customers happy in the long run. Happily in this case, we got the issues handled and Mr. [redacted] riding.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
Regards,
[redacted]

Hello, We acknowledge the errors in Mr. [redacted]s complaint and understand the frustrations that arose from them. Often times when there are issues regarding the registration or titling of a vehicle/unit, the time it takes to correct such errors is much greater than one would like to assume....

There was both an issue with the calculated fee for registration as well as the listed lien holder. Both of which Vey's Powersports has assumed responsibility for and is continuing to resolve for the customer.  [redacted]

Review: On 10/30/14 Vey's had an ad on their website for an Arctic Cat Wildcat for $15,999. The vehicle ID number was given and a picture of the vehicle showed it with a light bar, roof, 4 point seat belts, upgraded roll bar, full doors, and light whips. There was no mention anywhere in the add that these items were extra. We went to the dealership and spoke with a salesperson who agreed that $15,999 was the price of the vehicle. My husband and I completed credit aps and waited about 45 minutes while they verified our credit, which is excellent, and we were approved. The salesman then went to his manager and came back and told us the items mentioned above would be an additional $2,800+. We showed him the ad online and he said we should look at the asterisk. We pointed out that the asterisk only said the price did not include license fees, tax, title or destination fees. No mention of upgrades. We wasted an hour and a half of our time and were very disappointed because this ad was fraudulent and misleading. I have a screen shot of the ad if verification is needed.Desired Settlement: I would love for them to honor their advertised price but I doubt that will happen.

Review: I went into Veys Powersports in El Cajon on 6/25/2013 to look at the 2013 Kawasaki ZX-6R. I was told by the sales rep, [redacted], to come down in order to see the special [redacted] pricing for members. Upon arriving I find that there is no special pricing on this particular model, something he could have just told me over the phone. Basically, it was a bait-and-switch. They decide to try and work a deal with me anyway, but tell me first I must authorize a credit check with [redacted]. I figure, "Well, if the deal is good enough, why not?" and authorize the check. They run my credit to find I am able to qualify for the special 0% financing, and decide to "work" with me on numbers. They offer a decent drop in the sticker price to $8,999, but then decide to bump the usual crate & prep fee to something close to $3,000, unheard of in any motorcycle dealership on a middleweight sportbike. I was a bit shocked to see this and decided that this is not a business I wanted to have dealings with. This past Saturday, July 6th, I received a [redacted] Good Times credit line with [redacted] in the amount of $15,002. I'm astounded. I never authorized them to use my credit in this way, and never agreed to open up this line of credit. My assumption is that they were angry about not closing the deal with me and decided to "get back" at me by doing this and perhaps earning some sort of bonus from [redacted] for opening a new account. Shady business with shady people.Desired Settlement: I'm going to cancel the account and attempt to have it removed from my credit report. If Revdex.com can assist in this process, it would be most appreciated. Other than that, I'm unsure of how this could be reconciled, other than to compensate me for the time I am wasting in this process.

Response:

After reading the complaint I really feel as though my response will sound sarcastic but in no way is that my intention.

1) [redacted] Auto buying program - has pre negotiated, no need to haggle pricing. the discounted price from [redacted] has the standard dealer/manufacture frieght and preperation charges built in. As in the [redacted] warehouse (or any retail store) the customer pays tax for their purchases based off the location of registration. This means the [redacted] member pays the discount price, tax and license. side note - the pricing provided by [redacted] in no way is set in stone. Negotiations and offers are still welcome. But [redacted] does a fairly descent job getting our prices close to wholesale for its valued customers.

2) financing - Customer asked us to get them approved. They quailified as stated for the [redacted] credit card. This in NO WAY is an obligation to purchase anything however it I one of many steps to help our customers ride home on the bike of their choice. Credit limits are given based off credit scores and history. This person was approved to buy something not to exceed $15002. That does not mean they must purchase anything for that dollar amount, or anything at all. If they chose to close the amount that is completely okay.

In the end, and in reading the complaints, we did everything the customer asked. Showed him the [redacted] pricing as compared to retail and got him approved for the motorcycle he desired. The only thing we could not accomplish was selling him a bike to fit his budget. We do our best to make everyone a valued customer however some times these products are just a little more than many can afford.

Thank you for you time. I hope I covered all concerns.

Review: I purchased a used motorcycle for $ 5,000 cash on March 12 2014 and still have not received title or plates . It is itemized on the invoice and paid for . I have contacted them numerous times . they have even picked up the motorcycle at my house and went back to DMV with it . I received no receipt or proof at that time when they returned it to me . I have been patient and understanding , but I am unable to ride this motorcycle without plates or a title . I am also unable to take my operators test and my permit may have already expired . I just want this matter resolved . I would gladly return the motorcycle to them if they can not produce what I have paid for . The motorcycle has only had a couple hundred miles put on it since purchase . I would appreciate your assistance in this matter .Desired Settlement: NEED MY TITLE AND PLATE prompt handling of this matter or a refund of my purchase

Review: On 02 May 2015, I responded to an ad from Veys for a new 2014 KTM 690 Duke motorcycle. Veys initially quoted me a price of $6,699 but subsequently increased the Freight, Dealer Prep fees, and Other Charges for a final price of $7,524. I asked [redacted] of Veys to please contact my credit union to provide them with the information for a loan. The loan was approved and my credit union FedEx’ d a Cashier’s Check to Veys for the full amount of $7,524. Veys received and deposited the check on 08 May 2015. Veys has copies of my Pays Stubs, Federal ID, and State Driver’s License. Veys personally worked with my credit union to obtain the financing. However, Veys is refusing to release the bike for shipment in a timely manner, claiming that the Cashier’s check needs to clear in 10 – 14 days. I am a retired combat veteran currently serving my country on a two year tour with the DOD in Afghanistan. I will be home on R&R for approximately ten days in which I had anticipated taking receipt of the motorcycle. Veys has been aware of my situation since the beginning and never mention a hold for a Cashier’s Check. Multiple calls and emails to Veys have failed to resolve the issue. I have purchased nearly 30 new vehicles, motorcycles and boats and have never had a product held back such as this. I am suspecting fraud.Desired Settlement: I respectfully request that Veys make the motorcycle that has been paid for in full available for shipping no later than 18 May 2015 or provide me with a full refund delivered to my credit union no later than 22 May 2015.

Review: After 8 months of contacting this dealership, I have still not received my registration and license plates. I have contacted them more than a dozen times, and they say they will take care of it, and now my calls are not being returned. I paid for licensing of the vehicle and they are suppose to process it with the DMV. They have failed to honor the contract. I am at risk for a traffic violation when driving the vehicle without proper plates and registration.Desired Settlement: I demand that either my paperwork is processed with the DMV as is required in order to receive my registration and plates within 2 weeks, or a full refund of the licensing fees paid to them so that I can go to the DMV myself and register my vehicle,
