Dear Sirs: We have reviewed the attached complaintThe customer ordered three bags on our KIPLING.COM website and requested that the order be shipped to a Freight ForwarderA Freight Forwarder receives the packages and forwards them on to the consumer often at an international destinationOur
records indicate that the weight of the bag received by the freight forwarder and the weight of the bags are the sameThere are attachments to this emailThe 1st is the FedEx POD showing this case delivered at a case weight of to the delivery address in CaliforniaThe 2nd attachment is our system screen prints showing the items ordered along with those individual weights on those items & the case weight informationI have summarized below for reference as well. His rebate from R&A western was denied because the purchase date was outside of the stated purchase dates for this store. R&A ran their rebate from October 10-25 and his purchase was made on the 27th. The second rebate from Rural King was approved (he should receive it shortly). Rural King ran their in-store rebate from October 18-31 and his purchase was made on the 30th. Perhaps Mr. [redacted] believed Rural King and R&A Western were running the rebates during the same time period. The rebate forms would have been exactly the same. The retialer chooses the purchase and mail by dates on the back of the form. We regret teh confusion. SHould Mr. [redacted] wish to contact me directly, I am happy to speak with him further.
