CBS used deceptive tactics to try to stop users from cancelling All Access subscription. In the subscription cancellation workflow they use a “cancel” button that, rather than cancelling as expected actually cancels the attempted cancellation. They’ve intentionally added unnecessary steps and confusing language to obfuscate.

Comedy Central Put on Clusterfest Comedy Festival in San Francisco. They oversold tickets to events with limited capacity. I spent nearly 2k on 3 VIP tickets for 3 days, and we didn't get into a single show! Everything was by first come first serve luck or reservation, and half the time you wanted to make reservations, the shows booked full before the tickets were even live on the app. We got access to the main pavilion that is it. My manager pointed out that if they had just put a large stage outside hooked up to televised monitors so those not close to the stage could still see and experience the event then everyone with a ticket could have sat outside with food and beverage and enjoyed as much or as little as they wanted. But instead we spent the whole time waiting for admittance to shows and they being turned away. The staff is all volunteers so they don't know what's going on and Comedy Central provides no recourse for refunds on their Clusterfest ticket website or app stating the tickets admit you to the Fest experience but do not guarantee access to shows. That is a SCAM. I've already tried contacting them directly via email and received a generic auto response thanking me for my clusterfest support but nobody has reached out to correct the issue.

Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by Viacom International, Inc. regarding complaint ID.

Their stance may be that since they were only working in tandem with the organization putting on clusterfest they are not responsible. Clusterfest which by the way could not be found at the Revdex.com to lodge a complaint directly. I highly doubt Comedy Central owned by Viacom cares that thousands of people got ripped off. Suffice to say I no longer support Comedy Central and I advise anyone considering Clusterfest to avoid at all costs.Sincerely

I recently attended Slime Fest in Chicago, IL. Since Nickelodeon falls under you guys I am filing this complaint with you. I bought two VIP tickets because it stated that each VIP ticket got a special meet and greet with superstar JoJo Siwa. As such, I had no problem spending over $700 on tickets for me and my five year old. However, what we experienced was not special nor was it a meet and greet. You would think that during a meet and greet you would actually be greeting the person, maybe saying hi, exchanging names. This was run more like an assembly line where we were rushed through. I handed my phone to one person, who handed it to JoJo, who took a selfie with my daughter, JoJo handed my phone to someone else who then handed it to me. My daughter asked JoJo a question that she has talked about asking her for months and the look on everyone's faces made me feel like we committed a crime. Horrible. Not special. No meeting. No greeting.

On or about September *** 2018, using Google Play I downloaded the Noggin application owned by Viacom with a free one week subscription. After having technical issues, I unsubscribed using the Noggin app about an hour later. The app confirmed that I had unsubscribed from the service. Apparently, Google Play continued to charge me 7 99 per month after the one week trial, Until we noticed the charges. After contacting Google Play, they informed me that it had been too long for me to receive a refund and that I needed to contact Noggin/Viacom for a refund. After speaking with Kate at Noggin / Viacom located in California, they offed me a Google Play gift card . I demanded a refund, and informed them that there is no clear instruction that I must unsubscribe using Google Play, and after I unsubscribed using the Noggin app I thought I had unsubscribed even though the Noggin app said I had an unsubscribed in app.

This is a review of CBS procedures for Televised Courtroom Programs. The reviewer went on a 'Judge Judy' (JJ) program, filmed on April 24, 2018. The following serious errors were made by the JJ staff:
1. Lost evidence.
2. Overlooked Court Costs
3. Unauthorized withholding of tax on Judgement for damages.
Details: These 3 items are not covered by a contract, but are separate errors caused by CBS operating procedures. The settlement of a court case was the main service provided. The complaint is not about that, but about customer service. Items 1-3 were not covered by the agreement signed by both parties.
1. I turned over my exhibits at the end of the show to a CBS clerk upon request (to
be returned to me after an interview), including exhibit D, and also 2 blank sheets of
paper. Exhibit D , and one of the blank sheets of paper, WERE NOT RETURNED TO ME.
Exhibit D was clearly tabbed as exhibit D with a yellow post it. The item is a $650
Citation issued by Altamonte Springs Code Enforcement (ASCE) to Co-Defendant Hall for
cutting down trees.
2. Something like not paying court costs should be disclosed to a plaintiff well
BEFORE bringing them to Los Angeles. I NEVER waived my right to court costs, and in fact discussed the issue with associate, Ms. Smith, while I was in Altamonte Springs, FL
before the hearing. I carefully perused the Arbitration Agreement regarding this issue
before signing. Paragraph 8 of the Arbitration Agreement states "...the prevailing
party shall be entitled to receive an award of its actual attorney's fees and
costs..." I was not awarded my court costs, $371.67. I have already provided a
photocopy of the receipts to Ms. Smith.
3. I did not consent to having $383.87 TAX WITHHELD on the damages I was awarded. Issuing me 1099's is a different matter, and the taxability of an appearance fee is different
than the taxability of a reimbursement of Calif taxes, and the taxability of an award for
damages. (An award for damages is not taxable, in that it makes the recipient whole
again. This is a well accepted principal of taxation.) No insurance company that I know
of issues 1099s for damages awards, nor does a court issue 1099s for damages awards. In fact, an award for damages, paid for by a third party, is taxable to the Defendant! A third party paid his obligation, which is taxable income to him. CBS should not have withheld taxes, nor should it issue 1099s to a damages recipient.

prior to the new television season *** "On Demand" allowed us to view CBS programs at a later date. In fact on August *, 2010 *** and CBS signed a 10 year agreement regarding CBS programs viewed through ***. This later viewing seems unavailable for CBS shows from the new 2017 fall season and only prior season episodes are somewhat available.

The CBS network responded today with an acceptable explanation concerning this now already closed complaint previously flagged as "business did not respond". Thank you.

CBS allow freelance writers to do work for them even when the writes make insensitive jokes about mass killings and terrorist attacks. Mr. David L writes for CBS and on Monday, May , 2017 Mr. L make a joke about the Manchester bombing saying that “MULTIPLE CONFIRMED FATALITIES at Manchester Arena. The last time I listened to Ariana Grande I almost died too.” Mr. L list CBS in his online profile. CBS has not said that they will not allow this disgraceful individual write for them again. This must only mean that they agree with the insensitive remarks that he has made and his views reflect the views of CBS.

ViacomCBS Response

David L is not a CBS employee. His comments in no way represent the views of CBS or any of its stations.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families of this terrible attack.

Customer Response

CBS should require Mr. L to update his *** profile. The profile list that he is a freelance work for CBS. I assume this means that it is likely that CBS will publish more work for this horrible human being that mocks people involved in tragedies.
