My wife and I took her grandmother's chair to be painted/re-upholstered to Vibra's a year ago, and still have not been notified of when it will be completed. They work should only have taken a few weeks at the most. I had to contact the business myself, and the staff member, [redacted], did not seem concerned about my issue. I requested to pick up the chair asap whether the work was completed or not, and she was determined to put off my request until the following week and stated that she had been disconnected with our chair. My wife and I had this same problem with a wardrobe that they repainted for us. They kept it for months and never contacted us when the work was completed. We are pretty easy going people so we let that issue go. We even went over our contact information a second time before we dropped off the chair, to prevent this problem from happening again. I likely would not be reporting this issue, if not for the same issue happening more than once, but this time it has been a year since we dropped off our chair. The only misunderstanding was on the part of Ms. [redacted] She clearly informed my wife, [redacted], and myself that she would contact us once the work was complete. This would have prevented Vibra's storing the chair and then forgetting about it. The item should have never been stored, but instead brought back to the store where we should have been informed it was ready to be picked up. [redacted] finally called my wife to come and pick up our chair after I made the complaint to Revdex.com. I'm certain this prompted the response from Vibra's. We are just happy to have our chair back. It belonged to my wife's grandmother. I just hoped that Ms. [redacted] would have owned up to her mistake. Again, I will reiterate that we will no longer be utilizing their services.
