[redacted] came to the store requesting a specific paint to be made for him, he provided me the paint code and VIN numberWe use the paint code to enter into the computer, which generates a specific formula for the paintBased on this formula we make the paintUnfortunately, it is not guaranteed that the formula the computer generates will always be an exact matchAfter the paint was made and given to the customer, he contacted us and stated that the paint wasn't a match.I then explained to him that we cannot guarantee an exact match just based on the paint code and that he should have brought in a piece of old paintI recommended he try another paint shop because we could not get the match he wantedFollowing this incident, I received a letter of complaintI contacted the customer immediately to see if we could be any further assistance to himI offered him a full refund and explained I was happy for him to use the money to purchase new paint from another store that he preferredThe customer stated that that wouldn't be necessary because he was not going to go any further with the paint jobSince this last phone call and offer of a full refund, the customer has not contacted us again with any further concerns.Best Regards, [redacted]

Review: I went to this paint store to buy one quart of paint . I provide the owner ([redacted]) with picture of vin number and paint code next to it . Owner tell the guys on a back mix me paint and I pay for it. I took the paint to body shop they painted front end (fenders hood bumper) and when I came to pick up the car I see the big difference in color ( too much mettalic and darker). I contacted Vic paint supply and tell him (owner) the story . He reply thet we don't guaranty nothing and sometimes paint don't match.and I should brought him Piece of old paint. And tell me thet he can't Match my paint try different paint shop .but when I came first time he told me o e his paint will match. ThanksDesired Settlement: At least give me discount on next paint and try to make it match
