First and foremost, I would like to rectify Mr. [redacted]'s accusation that I had "threatened' him in regards to the other company that completed the services needed to get his suppression system up and running.  I was warning him about this company, which is well known in our fire protection...

community, local fire marshals and through verbal compalints from other business owners that we have worked with, that many times this company's work is not completely up to standards and usually ends up costing a business owner more money to have us or another company come in and correct their work.  I would never threaten someone just because they decided not to use our services.As for what Mr. [redacted] is insinuating when he claims that "mysteriously" after 20 minutes I brought his extinguishers u with the inspection stickers, I have no clue. The work performed on his three (3) extinguishers took longer than 20 minutes to complete and were actually serviced and completed on the day AFTER they were picked up, of which was Tuesday Nov. 29th and I was going to return them when I would go down to address his fire suppression work of which I believe I told him would be Friday December 2nd. Thus, it was less than 20 minutes for me to go get his extinguishers in the work area downstairs.In regards to the cost of the extinguisher work, I had told him the day I was at his restaurant and took them with me that it would cost "approximately" $200.00, not including taxes.  Doing this work for 40 years, I am quite familiar with the servicing costs of extinguishers. It did turn out to be slightly above the $200.00 by $29.83! Thus, being the service work was done on the extinguishers, recharging powder was used to refill them and time paid to my employee to do this work, I was NOT going to just give him the extinguishers without paying the full amount.I do apologize for the frustration and inconvenience in regards to the fact of not being able to get in contact with me during those times he claims he called and/or texted me. I did at one point get in contact with him, mentioning a tentative date of Friday December 2nd.  On Nov. 29th he says he came down from Boston, even though he had not heard from me, and felt it was wrong for him to have had to do this. Being he was in the process of getting this restaurant ready, I do not believe it was only because of me he drove down from Boston, as he was down here for this other company in order to do the required suppression work.I did sincerely apologize to Mr. [redacted] when he came to my office to pick up the extinguishers. I have no type of special excuse to give, except that at that point and time, it was an oversight due to excessive work. In the 12 years that I have been in business, I have never had this happen before as I do give 100% of my attention to the work at hand. Many times if schedules get tight, my customers and I work it out with satisfactory results. I am highly recommended by many of the state's Fire Marshals, business owners and fire suppression contractors.
