Below is the copied message from the website which indicates a full refund of the first paid visit will be issued if customers did not feel excited. This is misleading advertisement to customers if refund is not allow.

Please consider the following as my official respond to the complaint mentioned above.
Mrs. [redacted] L.... was...

initially seen by me in our office on January 30th of 2015.  During this initial FREE visit that took approximately 45 minutes we discussed her medical condition and best treatment options.Based on the discussion Mrs. [redacted] L... received a treatment plan proposal along with estimated professional fee and recommended treatment schedule.
It was also suggested that Mrs. [redacted] L... think about this proposal and call later to the office if she accepted it.  
Next day Mrs. [redacted] L... called to the office to book an appointment for 1st acupuncture session that includes complete TCM assessment.  She was aware that the price of the 1st procedure is $150.00. Also this price is available on the website.  See screen shot below:

According to the company policy- no payments are taking in advance.  Each payment is due after the completion of the procedure.  Also if a patient not satisfied with the first procedure he/she can immediately cancel the rest of treatment and not to pay for the one that was received.

After the completion of the session Mrs. [redacted] L... asked to schedule her next procedure and paid $150 for the one she just received.
Next day she called our office asking to cancel her farther treatment and to issue the refund for the first procedure.  Mrs. [redacted] L... was asked if something went wrong and she replied: "No, everything was ok, but I decided instead of acupuncture to continue treatment with Chinese herbs, which I already started 1 month ago."
Our company policy never stated that patients may receive a full or partial refund for the treatment they received.  Our promise is that if patient not satisfied with the first procedure he/she should not pay for it (immediately after the completion on f the procedure), but not requested next day just because she changed her mind.
When I explained the above statement to Mrs. [redacted] L... she said that is not satisfied with the treatment because it did not help her at all.  According to Mrs. [redacted] L... medical history she is suffering from this medical condition for more than 2 months and underwent numerous of different treatments without any improvement.  Why would she expect that the first acupuncture procedure that she received in our office should cure her?  If that's how acupuncture works we would have each patient in the office for one visit only, however it is a known fact that the average course of acupuncture treatment consists of 12 sessions.
Mrs. [redacted] L... made a payment using credit card and our "point of sale" payment system.  She also signed the transaction.
I am enclosing the copy of the receipt for this  transaction, which was emailed to Mr. [redacted] L...per her request.
