Shotty Worksmanship and the floor is coming up and they refuse to repair it We bought the tile in August of had it put down and from the beginning there were issues, floor was creeky and loud and now pieces are coming up and and peeling offThey refuse to return our phone calls or repair it

I went into American Carpets the beginning of April I picked out a piece of carpet and told the salesman, *** ***, that I wanted it installed in my bedrooms, foyer and staircase He said no problem and set up a time for installers to come Since then, I have had installers show up to my houseThe first one laid the carpet upstairs (keep in mind he walked up and down that staircase all day long) and literally refused to do the stairs after he installed it in my bedrooms and foyer He said, "I get paid by the job, not the hour and that was not worth it and can't be done." American Flooring and Cabinets in Gulf Shores - Several months ago I had an extensive kitchen renovation that included all new cabinets and a new tile floor - the cabinets are not performing as the salesman said they would - there have been several attempts to fix them but to no avail and now I am stuck with cabinets that are closing unevenly and do not close uniformly - the soft closing mechanism (which was initially not installed although I paid for it) is different on practically every door ranging from quiet and smooth to loud and bumpy One of the cabinet doors that is in the most prominent position sticks out from the other door at the bottom which indicates to me that it is warped It has been like this from day one The tile floor is not level even after several attempts to fix itCustomer service is practically nonexistent as there was damage to other furniture and appliances that was noted meticulously by the salesman who said he would let me know what they could do about it and then it was completely ignored after telling me on at least two occasions that "Dennis" would handle it Never been handled and I will not hire them again I would take legal action but it's too much money and trouble
