Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/10/11) */
Before the tenants moved in Springfield Development called [redacted] to let her know there was still work that needed to be done, and that we needed to move back her move in date. As stated in the pre-lease agreement, we do everything we can to...

make the unit ready by the date listed on the pre-lease, but it is not guaranteed as the property had just been purchased and closed on. They stated they could not wait and that we could finish what needed to be done after they had moved in. We have no work order in regard to the heat not working- if there is a problem with the heat there will need to be a work order made by [redacted] in the office. We have reviewed the utility issue at her address and the current utility bills are not paying anywhere near [redacted] a month in utilities, so that is simply untrue. The leak and draft in the utility basement are being addressed, as the window glass has to be custom ordered due to the age of the home. We have done our best to supply a comfortable home at a reasonable price with a newly renovated kitchen and nice sized bedrooms w/ original hardwood flooring. Clearly this is [redacted]'s first rental experience and she does not understand how horrible some landlords are who do absolutely nothing once someone has moved in no matter what needs to be fixed or taken care of. We have had the outside of the unit power-washed, provided her with a new stove when the current unit did not have a working clock, replaced their hot water heater, re-routed their washer and dryer service in the basement, built a custom storage unit for their lawn mower, serviced the air conditioning e=several times until it worked properly, among many other work orders. To say they have had nothing done since they moved in is ridiculous. We strive to do our best in these instances as we manage over [redacted] rental units. Service is not instantaneous and has to be taken care of based on priority.

She falsified information on her income which made it so she didn’t qualify for the $100 deposit. When we told her this she was irate and started cussing us out. At that point we asked her to leave. We even verified the information she submitted with her. Our application fee is non-refundable and it...

is stated that way.

I cannot give specifics out for the client as far as the account is concerned, but once it is sent to collections, he needs to contact the collection agency directly. He was sent due to nonpayment. He is more than welcome to contact the collection agency to give out all the documentation and an...

itemized bill of what he is charged for.

Review: I am being held responsible for a gift card of $50.00 that was purchased by my daughter on November 14, 2012. (as a birthday present). She charged it on a credit card. Apparently she was not authorized to use this card. However, there was $50.00 on the card when I cashed it in at victoria secret in west mifflin, pa. If it wasn't approved why was there monies on it? After all this time (7 months) it is now being disputed. It has not been paid and victoria secrets is now trying to hold me responsible for the $50.00 that was a gift. Is this legal for them to do this? I have NO account with them and do not frequent this store. I would greatly appreciate a reply to this. Thank You.Desired Settlement: victoria secret not to hold me liable for the $50.00 and to be sure this does not affect my credit. it was a gift.

Review: On Aug. 16th, 2014 mid-morning, I decided to take advantage of a "Swim Sale" and decided to go to the Victoria's Secret store I frequently go to. Because the items I wanted to purchase did not show up on the computer screen, the sales associate phoned it in. She was the only one on the register and slowly a line of customers started to form.

In front of me AND a room full of customers in line to pay, she asked and called out my name, address, email, and gave the customer service representative on the phone MY FULL VISA NUMBER AND EXPIRATION DATE. I attempted to stop her, and she just said, "Well, I have to give them the information." She did not turn around to finish the transaction on the counter behind her where the phone was sitting, she did not lower her voice, she just spoke in plain conversational tone, and gave away my private, financial, sensitive information IN FRONT OF OTHER PEOPLE.

I was angry but held my composure. I spoke to the manager but she had to handle the line of customers waiting, I understand. She was receptive and was willing to appease me but in this day and age where identity theft is more common, the type of transaction that I went through and witnessed warrants an investigation in the way a company handles sensitive financial information in front of others. Is it standard practice of businesses to say or read financial, private information if front of other customers in line?Desired Settlement: I would like for the business to change and hold in an utmost respect their customers' private and sensitive information.

Review: When I brought a Christmas gift with the receipt that was shipped with it from Victoria's Secret into the store to return it, I was asked if I wanted a store credit. I declined, explained that it was a gift that didn't fit. I was asked for identification and produced my driver's license. The clerk then rang something up and announced that the charge went back to the original credit card--that, of course, being the card of the person who sent me the gift. When I complained and offered to take a store credit if a cash refund was not possible, I was told it was too late because the money had already been returned to the credit card. I asked for the manager and she told me there was nothing to be done, that the gift had been returned according to company policy. My complaint is that no one attempted to explain my options not did I see them posted anywhere before the transaction was completed. And why did someone have to see my identification at all? I came into the store with a gift and receipt in the original Victoria's Secret box and left with nothing but a new problem--how to explain it to the gift-giver.Desired Settlement: I'd like an apology, a polite one if at all possible.

I was recently harassed by the store manager [redacted] a month ago,and accused of stealing because I guess looked suspicious by being black and acting normal! Very shocking! After spending a few minutes casually browsing the store, I went to use the restroom and when I got out the manager was outside the door glaring at me and as I started exiting the store I noticed she was following me. When I asked her why she was doing this she said the girl at the check out register by the name of [redacted] had told her that I had merchandise. I was so shocked because this was a completely false accusation. she then looked in my purse and my small shopping bag and found nothing. I was humiliated and this was happening in the middle of the store, but more so because [redacted], the girl who made the accusation casually dismissed it with no apology and simply stated to me , "oh I could swear I saw you carrying something"

Review: I was hoping I can return one pair of the yoga pants I ordered online to this store, but the cashier insulted me arrogantly and treated me like a criminal. I have never been asked to show my ID for a return, but this cashier not only asked for my ID but also held it from me for more than 5 mins. After over 15 mins conversation and all kinds of excuses from this cashier, she was finally willing to help me with this return, but her attitude was horrible.FYI. The yoga pants are brand new and with tag. During the entire process, I talked to her calmly and tried my best to carry a smile politely. Because of her delay and emotion, other customers were lining up waiting, so I offered to her that I can wait aside so that she can help other customers first. she turned down my offer and kept holding my ID without explanation.I am a frequent VS customer, from both online and in store. So I had a couple of experiences before returning things in VS store, and for both of those two times I received an email notification after return. However this time, I didn't receive this email communication.Desired Settlement: 1. Ask this cashier to explain to me what's the reason that she needed my ID for over 5 mins2. Make sure my return is successful3. Make sure this cashier receive customer experience training before she faces another customer, and help her understand probably one of 10 online purchase will end up with a return and she needs to be professional and patient.

I have made payments online through their online website for their angel card and because of a misprint or a mispelling the company will stop your transaction(after it says payment has been completed) without showing any error sign notifying you of your mistake and accessing your account with a stop payment fee of 25 dollars for a mispelled word or a misprint almost a week later, on top of a service charge every month of about 2 or 3 dollars. This stop payment never shows on your bank account because it never gets processed to your account just their system. I would not recommend anyone get this victoria secret angel card in the future.

Review: On 4/22/15 I brought over $200 worth of merchandise from victoria pink and I had a free tote coupon for $75 or more. The workers at the boardman store said that tote bag was sols out but I saw more on the counter!Desired Settlement: 2 Victorias Secret Tote Bags
