I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I am rejecting this at this time based on the fact that they still sold me a full priced extended factory warranty that now they are modifying to meet their needs and stating it covers only factory authorized parts and not after market parts. I accept that yes the engine is covered however this forces me to go through them to correct any future repairs I may need. claiming they can not have known that the motorcycle does not fully qualify I find very alarming that they are authorized to sell a warranty yet have to have no knowledge of what currently would be covered. I will wait till the bike is in full repair and then examine the bike for satisfaction prior to accepting any outcome

I spoke to [redacted]. This was a pre-owned bike when we sold it and there was no way for us to know that modifications had been done to the ignition system. Still, the warranty should cover any repairs not directly related to run condition complaint. This customer had not spoken to me or our service...
department prior to the complaint or we would have had this ironed out right away. [redacted] (finance manager) has been in contact with this customer since the complaint was filed and the customer has authorized us to pick the bike up and contacted the other dealership allowing us to do so. We are picking the bike up from [redacted] on Friday and taking it to [redacted] Harley for repairs. We will advise the customer further after actual repairs are completed.
