have to make difficult decisions based on information that I receive from the parents or from previous schools. The parent in this situation did not supply us information about her son that I requested for us to solidify his admittance in our school. We also tried numerous times to get records from his previous school so we could put a plan in place if necessary to accommodate this situation. We did not get his records until 2 business days before the start of school. When we received his records, academic and social, a decision was made that we could not best meet his needs and it was best for our school environment that he not attend Victory Christian Academy. At this point she asked for an audience with our school board to explain how her son's behavior had improved over the last few months. I told her that I would ask the board president if they wanted to have the parent come to one of our meetings. Our President, after hearing the information given to us said that he was in agreement with my recommendation, therefore the audience was not granted. We are reimbursing the parent for an application fee of $25.00 and a registration fee of $400.00. This payment was to be made by the end of the month, like we typically do in these situations.
