Unfortunately, we have run into a situation with this particular project where previous contractors have left several mistakes that needed to be corrected and that was explained to the client. We advised the client that we are not accustomed to proceeding with jobs left in these conditions by other contractors but would make an exception for her as she was very frustrated with the situation. We also explained to her that trying to fix someone else's leftover mistakes will not end up with perfect results. The tile has been installed and minor grout details are what need to be fixed. We received a down payment from the client in order to start the project and because of the minor grout imperfections she has stated that she will not be paying our company. As far as the crew coming in late, we  never set a time of arrival as we advised the client of materials needing to be picked up before hand in order to begin the job. Also, there were several days of severe rain and thunderstorms, the crew having to work outside with electrical equipment is not acceptable under our safety guidelines and is a severe hazard to their safety. At Remodeling Zone we do our best to ensure complete satisfaction to our clients and also to ensure safe working conditions for our workers.  At this time, we will not be able to continue with this project as the value of work that has been delivered is much more than the money received.
