Victory Lane Auto Service

Review: My car had an overheating issue and I took it to Victory Lane as recommended by a friend. Once they had my car in, they told me what the problem was and gave me an estimate on what it would cost to do the repairs. They gave me a best case scenario (about $200) and a worst case scenario (about $350) for the repairs. I agreed and got picked up and asked them to please contact me if there were any changes.I get the call a few hours later to come pick my car up, they did not list the total in the voice mail. I get there and they tell me that the repairs are going to cost me $480. I dispute this claim as I was informed that this is way above what they had quoted me and that they didn't call me to tell me that there would be additional charges. I inform them that this is unacceptable as they neither contacted me or gave me an honest quote, as that price was unfair and I would have taken my vehicle elsewhere for such an outrageous price. I demand that they fix this and the receptionist immediately takes $100 off of the bill without a fight. They knew that I had called them out on it and they were trying to make as much money off of me as they could. Very shady and dishonest business practices.Desired Settlement: I never want to go back there, and I'm not disputing it because what is done is done. This is meant to warn other people of their shady business practices. Someone less vigilant than myself would fall prey to their surprise up charges and get ripped off.
