This customer did purchase and return a nightgownOur receipts clearly state that all purchases may be returned for exchange or store
creditThe return was made in a timely manner but at a time when the seasons are changing, making the availability of the precise gown she describes a real challengeI explained this to *** and told her repeatedly that there are no exceptions to our return policy and that I would do my best to find exactly what she was looking forThe conversation was repeated many times in the hopes of convincing me but, as I explained to ***, the rules apply to ALL customers including my personal relativesShe was correct in saying that I had no customers in the shop at the timeI spent a great deal of time with her and both of us continued to say the same words over and over I have many chores in the shop besides waiting on customers and gave up a great deal of time to this discussionI did hones tly need to get back to my work and was never rude to her, just honest and consistentWe keep a copy of all credits and will honor them even if the customer loses his or her copyI told her that I would make a real effort to find her what she wants and I will do that

Vidakafka  has both the nightgown and my $60.32 payment. I did not receive notice of a " No Refund" policy until after purchase. It was in small print at the bottom of the receipt given after purchase. The store does not have  a suitable nightgown for me and emphasized that they will not have kind gown I need until, perhaps,  next summer. They also said sometimes customers wait 5 years  to use a store credit. I want the money refunded.  I am on a pension & the $60.32 is a significant amount in my monthly budget.
