I am sorry for the difficulty you have had this summer with your air conditioning unit I see the service ticket from 7/when a capacitor was replaced You were charged $ I also see that we found the non working motor on 8/ You were not charged for this visit I will refund the $that you a paid on 7/ We do not pay for repairs from another company, so this is the only amount that I can refund I will process the credit for $this week Please let us know if we can help you in the future

Mrs*** lives in a home built in that she purchased in 2012. Stan’s was not involved in the construction, load calculation, or equipment selections. This was done through another contractor with the builder. In 2013, the builder contracted with Stan’s to replace a
leaking evaporator coil at the builder’s expense because the original air conditioning contractor had gone out of business. At this time, we explained to Mrs*** the value of regular maintenance on equipment and she opted to purchase our maintenance planSince that time, we have been performing maintenance twice per year at Mrs***’s residence. The first inspection we did on the 2nd system in revealed that the Freon on the main system was low. Our technician added Freon to bring the system to full capacity. Often times, if we determine low refrigerant on a system that we don’t know the history of, we do not perform a leak search. A leak search is an extra charge to the homeowner. It is possible that the system is low due to something in its history, such as another service provider. A second failure would prompt a leak searchMy understanding is that any repair calls were done with her home warranty service provider. We were not aware of any equipment malfunctions and were never asked to address a malfunction. Maintenance to HVAC systems does not cause evaporator coils to leak. Manufacturers require regular maintenance to keep warranties validI am unable to determine the reason for replacing the equipment as we were not consulted when it was not working properlyThe cost of Mrs***’s currently active service agreement was $of which one half of the agreement has been utilized. I am willing to refund this agreement purchase of $and cancel her service agreement with Stan’s. Stan’s was not involved in the decision to replace the equipment and will not assume the cost of the replacementTell us why here

visit.  I will refund the $190.50 that you a paid on 7/10.  We do not pay for repairs from another company, so this is the only amount that I can refund.  I will process the credit for $190.50 this week.  Please let us know if we can help you in the future.
