I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
I did get a call with a promise but I got that before, when I receive a check I will let you know.

The first attachment are two email exchanges with Jeffers Moving.   After repeated requests for a contract, we were told that they operate off of a gentleman's agreement.   So these emails are my only "contract".  It also shows the cost of packing materials (Boxes and paper).   It also shows my notes as to when we confirmed the arrangements on Sept 27, 2016.The second attachment is a receipt that was signed after delivery of our furniture.   Our furniture as to be delivered in the afternoon of Nov 4 as we had to attend the closing on the property in the morning.   Jeffers delivered the furniture in the morning when no one was there to supervise.   We arrived as soon as possible and had to have the movers reposition boxes and furniture.  The receipt document was signed so that the movers could go to their next job and prior to having had a chance to examined the furniture. The third item is a receipt for the new ladder that I had to purchase as they lost our original ladder.  Cost was $59.96 plus tax for a total of $64.16.The last attachment contains documents from [redacted] repair.  Included is the original estimate of $363.80 and the actual invoice with the carbon copy of the check for the amount of $362.95.  The third document is an estimate of $500 to repair the credenza.  It needs to be taken to their shop for repair.  That has not yet occurred.

Mr [redacted] implies that our claims are "exaggerated".  I am not sure how he would know this, as he never came to our home to view the damage.  I have attached three photos as examples of the type of damage that our furniture sustained during the move.   They are definitely visible to the eye and by my standards not insignificant.  Based on our moving experience with Jeffers Moving and Storage, we could not trust that anyone they identified would repair our furniture  in an acceptable manner.    I am  not sure why he objects to reimbursing us for costs that we incurred.   He asks what it would take to resolve this situation to our satisfaction and that is reimburse for the repair costs and payment for the new step ladder that I have to buy, since they lost ours.
