I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThe reason for the negative equity in the Honda Odyssey is due to the fact, we paid retail for a used vehicle with a bad carfax. The fact that they claim we had negative equity in the vihicle we traded for the odyssey, is a lie. We rolled from our prior vehicle into the odyssey. Also in regards to the carfax, "not knowing what a customer knew or didn't know brack in 2014" is also a lie! When I called my original salesperson, ***, he didn't even know it had a bad carfax. He admitted to me over the phone that he had no idea it had a bad carfax.
So if you can see the partern, Pogue is and does lie on a regular basis. I have attached the original purchase paperwork to prove we didn't have any negative equity when we made the tradeAlso, they didn't make the 16,offer for the bad vehicle they sold me until after I filed this complaint. *** had originally offerred me 18,000, but when I asked them to find me a vehicle I liked to trade with, they started ignoring my calls and texts. I even offerred to pay for the mileage I put on the van and asked them to buy it back and I would walk away. Attached is the KBB supporting information concerning their 16,offer. This information also proves they Lie. They can't even give proper information concerning fair market valueThe negative equity we had in the odyssey is due to us purchasing a fully loaded honda odyssey with high mileage and a clean carfax, instead we purchased a fully loaded high mileage honda odyssey with a bad carfax. The proof is in the attachmentsMore thing, if you look at the attachment "how to calculate diminished value" that will support my original claim of 10,000. Had we known the odyssey had been in an accident with air bag deployment, we wouldn't have paid 30,990. We should've paid in the 20,rangeMy original claim still stands

It would be impossible for me to know whether a customer knew what was on a carfax in February of 2014. The vehicle purchased was way back of retail value. The customer was carrying a lot of negative equity over into the new loan. It is no fault of anyone but the customer for carrying negative equity into a new vehicle loan. These problems are solved by not financing for long periods of time then trading early in loan or by cash down. The customer was offered $16000. trade value by our dealership.
