I have reviewed the account and the following is a detail of the happenings
Charges came in with the hospital as the mailing address
12-16-received correct address from hospital , changed and billed to the patient 12-16-14====no response
from patient
1-4-collection letter sent regarding account----tried calling patient-phone disconnected
1-6-statement sent to patiereturn macontact from patient
2-3-statement mailed-still no contact from patient
3-3-audit/collection letter mailed-still no contact
5-13-wrote off to collection agenfurther contact from us
collection agency then is the only contact with the patient
We have had no contact from patient or spouse or anyone regarding this until 10-13-when spouse called to complain
Our police with charity care from ** *** Hospital is....they send us the paperwork informing us of what level they have provided charity care for
their facilityThere is always a portion of the physicians bill that the patient is responsible for which is noted on the charity form
Unless we get the form or the patient calls and we request the form, there is no way for us to know
Had the patient called and informed us since they were still receiving bills from our facility, we would have been glad to assist them with the issue

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ,[redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
they may say they sent one but they never did send any..and I did talk to them back in 2009 and they said they would take it under advisement. and the thing with the phone being disconnected never had my cell phone disconnected and havent had a house phone for at least 10 years and if you look at thier response they said they sent me a letter on 12/16/2014. and the first correspondence we had was when someone called me on 10/15/14 and I had my wife call them and then I had my wife pay it in full 2 days later on the 17th. and they still put it on my credit report dropping my credit score 70 points costing me hundreds of dollars in interest fees.
