Review: The end of last year I called Vigil Signs to have my sign repaired, I spoke to [redacted] Vigil. It took at least2months before I heard back. I was told that the sign needed power supplies by the repair man that was here. I asked if these power supplies are expensive, he said no they are not. He said $300 to $400. Around April of this year the same gentleman came back and replaced the power supplies. After he was done the sign it still did not work. Later on that same day he showed me some lights, I think LED, that were burned out. He said they are low voltage lights. I asked how can a low voltage burn the lights to that extreme, he said that the sign was installed incorrectly. I asked how come you did not notice this before, he replied I originally did not check every section of lights. Then he replied these have to be ordered. I asked him to look into the cost and let me know. I was never contacted again, nor did I ever see this gentelman again. On June 30th [redacted] came to my office and said the sign is fixed here is your bill. My reply was I never saw the repair man come back. He then handed me a bill for $1221.79. I was shocked, I told [redacted] I never approved this repair., why would I, I'm moving in less then 1 year. I asked [redacted] when did I approve this estimate, he did not respond. I also asked to have him speak to the service man to confirm Iasked for an Estimate for the lights. [redacted] said you should have only spoken to me. I asked for him to look into it and we would work out a price and asked him to discuss it with the repair man. I gave [redacted] A $300 check. I'm not even sure my sign is fixed at this point. Ten days later [redacted] sent me an email to get full payment. I replied Again we need to work something out. I called [redacted] Mon morning 7/14/14, I tried to reason with him he threatened to send my bill to collections. I again explained I was not responsible for the whole bill and did not aprrove the repair of the lights. He hung up. I called back and told [redacted] I would give him $300 more. He came in and took the check and has no intension of taking responsibility for what his service man said. Today again he sent me an email to get paid in full or start charging me late fees.Desired Settlement: I don't feel I'm responsible for their miscommunication. I have already paid him $600 which is way more than the price I agreed to pay.
