Valentine's Day for us was quite a nightmareWe hire extra drivers for our busy holidays so that we can make sure to get deliveries out on timeUnfortunately, we had of our drivers not show up that day, which put us horribly behindWith deliveries, we deliver to businesses first, as they are
usually only open until 5pmThis delivery was to a residence, so it would not have been delivered until after all the other deliveries to businesses were made firstThis order was placed online through our website, and there was not a time stated in the delivery instructions, so we went ahead as planned, to have them delivered in the eveningThe customer called at 6:00pm, very angry and irate, stating that his delivery had not yet been madeOur sales employee stated that it was still out for delivery, and would be delivered soonHe proceeded to then start yelling at our sales girl, saying that it was not good enough, they should have been delivered earlier in the dayOur sales girl then apologized as there were no delivery instructions given, and we would gladly send out the arrangement with a free upgradeHe stated that it was not good enough, and wanted them for freeShe then told him that we could either upgrade them free of charge or offer in-store credit to use at a later date, but he could not have bothThe wife then got on the phone and became very rude, cussing and screaming at our sales girl, where she then had to option but to terminate the phone callWe cancelled the order, which then does not charge the customer for the order, and we never heard back from him until now
