The customer's boyfriend called our office for us to replace Ms*** water heater. When I called her to set up the appointment, she asked how much to replace the heater. She was told as long as it was just taking out the old heater and replacing with the new heater, it would be
$1,345.00. But if my plumber had to do anything extra once he got there, it would just be time + material, she agreed to have the heater replaced. She asked if she needed to be there, I told her no because the heater was located on the outside of her trailer so my plumber would have access so no need for her to have to be there; if she decided to leave work at that point, that is on her. When my plumber got there, the insulation was already water damaged because her heater that we were there to replace was leaking all over it; so that damage was already there. When my plumber went to uninstall the leaking heater; the main water valve on her trailer came apart because whoever installed it originally used PVC glue on a CPVC fitting; the other shut off valve was located in the middle of her trailer and we had no access to it. When the valve broke, my plumber disconnected the line from the meter so water wasn't running through the meter; so her saying her water bill is going to be high is just not true (with no water running through the meter, the water bill obviously is not going to go up). The water ran onto the ground and down the road, just like is would have if it were raining outside - there was no damage to her yard or anybody elses. When the valve broke, my plumber contacted the park maintenance to come shut off the water; it took him an hour to show up. We installed the heater (after replacing the water valve and piping to the heater that also came apart), she paid for the services, we left. She then called and said water was not hot; we sent someone over, the valve on the brand new heater was bad; my plumber called Rheem tech service and they were supposed to send her the valve, then she was supposed to call us when she got the valve so my plumber could come install it; so her complaining about us not coming back right away to fix is - can't come install a part that isn't there yet). She did not call us at all and the next thing we know, she's complaining to the Revdex.com and cancelling her credit card paymentMy plumber called Rheem to see if they had sent the part; but the tech person had taken down the wrong serial number on the heater and had sent the part to California by mistake. My plumber called Ms*** on Friday, June 2nd to try to resolve this issue; he told her he would deduct the extra cost and just charge the original price of $1,345.00; but she did not want to resolve the issue and has decided to basically lie to try to get this heater for freeHer saying she had to miss work because she couldn't get cleaned up is also false, she had told my plumber that she could take a shower at her mother's if need be until he could get the part installed so again, it was not necessary for her to miss work. We have been in business for over years and never had a complaint with the Revdex.com filed. We believe this customer is just trying to get out of paying for the services rendered. Also, she stated that we were only there one hour; my plumber arrived at 11:a.mand did not leave until 2:30, that's three hours; not one
