The establishment Via Bella only cared about being paid and did not care about thr service that they were giving*** *** and *** were very rude and didn't want take the fault to their mistakesThey talked down to me and ignored my calls to make a compliant
Instead of fixing the problem, *** *** got aggressive and defensiveI tried explaining the situation calmly but she got loud and rudeAnd tried to put the blame on my hair textureIf she knew from the beginning that she wouldn't be able to do what I asked for, she shouldn't have agreed to or take my money
After not getting through to *** on a civil matter, I contacted ***.Upon calling she deliberately ignored me and didn't want to hear anything I had to say
I spent $just to get unbelievably bad service and no refund

Attached please find the response from *** *** to the above complaintI also enclose her pictures and copies of bank verification. *** *** is an independent contractor that rents space at Via Bella Salon and SpaIt is my understanding that a resolution was made between ***
and *** ***To correct Ms***, I did not ignore or was I rude to herShe called my business on 10/20/and left a message with my staffI returned her call that day and I told the person that answered who I was and that I was returning her callThey hung up on meShe called again the next day and went on about how she needed to talk to the owner about a bounced checkI picked up the phone and listened to her complaintI explained that *** is an independent contractorI told her I would contact *** about the check not being goodI knew that not enough time had lapsed for the check to have bouncedThen she told me she still had the checkI determined that she only told my staff she had a bounced check so I would come to the phoneI called *** and told her to call Ms***I then called Ms*** again to make sure, *** contacted herMs*** told me she talked to *** and she was on her way to the bank to cash the checkShe was very pleasant and seemed satisfied. finished off with a handshake and an apology on both our partsMiss *** came in with her own hair and beads for installationShe was informed prior to booking and coming in for her installation appointment that because she was bringing in her own materials I would not be able to give her a guarantee of any sortWhen I provide the materials I do make myself liable for the product because it is the brand I recommendedShe said that was fine and that she just wanted them installedDuring the installation process I noticed that a few(less than 5) had slippedI replaced them, gave it a tension test to see if they would slip again and they didn't so I proceeded with the installationI did explain my concern that because her hair was so soft and fine that she might run into a couple slipping in the future and invited her to come back if that happened and I would reinstall them at no chargeEven though I said I couldn't give her a guarantee on the hair, I have such a passion for my job I wanted to make sure I took care of her as a clientShe texted me later on that day saying she wanted to add more in to try and make it fullerI explained why it was difficult to do so with that type extension and her hair type but still invited her to come back so we could see what we could do as I did want her to be happy(I have attached a copy of that text message conversation)We also conversed over the phone so I could better explain things to her and even offered to set aside extra time to show her how to style her hair with the extensionsThe following day she came in first thing in the morningI could tell she was a bit upset as she informed me a few fell outI tried to explain what probably happened and told her I would replace themShe kept trying to show me Voutube videos of these extensions and I said that I had taken a class and was certified in installing this type of extension (which can be verified by looking on the Babe Extensions website) and that everyones hair texture is different and may react to extension type differentlyI reminded her that she had brought in her own materials and my job was to install themAt this point she became angry and began to cuss at me and tell me I shouldn't have agreed to put them in if I couldn't do itI told her that I did put them in, I did install them, I did what she asked and beyond to fix the situation but because she brought her own materials I could not give her a guarantee for the hairShe kept interrupting me angrily which was a bit frustrating and I kept trying to tell her I was trying to help her with the situation and that is why I invited her backShe continued angrily and loudly interrupting me, which at this point I just said that if she did not calm down I was going to have to ask her to leaveI was genuinely trying to help the situation but she wasn't letting meI felt that I could no longer please her and gave her some optionsI offered to refund her half her money, $60.00, and I would not do anything else to her hair or I keep the payment and try to add more hair and teach her how to style itShe got on the phone, asked her boyfriend's opinion and then told me she would take the $I said ok and I didn't have exact cash so I offered to write her a check or if she would like to wait ten minutes for the receptionist to arrive so I could get changeShe chose the check optionI wrote her the check and told her I didn't want to leave off on bad terms and offered some friendly advice in regards to extensions and told her this is just advice whether you return to me or notShe responded by calmly agreeing that she didn't want to leave on bad terms as well and told me that I was not a bad stylist, that she did want to return to me and that she was just trying something new and had different expectations but she understood results vary on everyoneI also offered a discount if she would like to try different type of extension when/if she returnedSo with the $and discount was offering, she would have gotten $backShe shook my hand said thank you and apologized, which was witnessed by a co-worker Cassandra ***, and she leftIn regards to the civil matter mentioned, Miss *** said she had trouble depositing my check and was very angry yet she never directly contacted me about itI was informed by the owner of the salonI called Miss *** immediately and told her I was confused as to why she was having trouble with the check and she got defensive to which I reassured her I was not accusing her of lying about itShe told me several stores and a bank would not take itI asked her if she would prefer cash or if she would like to retry the checkShe said she would deposit the check and I told her to call me if she had any problems so I could get my bank on the phone with her bank before she left so they could sort out the matterI took the initiative to call my bank and spoke to a woman by the name of Jamie at the Stockade branch Kern Schools Federal Credit Union, which she verified that there were funds in the account to cover the check and that Miss *** should not have had ant issues the first time she tried to deposit itTo verify this conversation the KSFCU Stockade branch phone number is ###-###-####I believe as a stylist I did everything I could and more to resolve the situationEach time I spoke directly with Miss *** we ended on good terms and were very understanding of each otherAside from a partial refund and future discount I believe my several efforts in inviting her back so I could try to fix any issue she had with her hair clearly shows genuine effort I had in pleasing her as a clientAttached is before and after pictures to which she left pleased with the results, text messages between us and of me inviting her to come in to fix the problem, a photo of the carbon copy of the check written to her and a print out of her confirmed deposit of the check clearing my bank account. *** ***
