Please accept this letter in response to Ms [redacted] complaint We take these types of complaints very seriously and wish to address it in its entirety 0in">The Spa at the Villa closed its doors on February 2, The spa is entirely out of businessA message was sent via email announcing the closure to all spa guests who had registered for our email servicePersonal phone calls were made to all clients who had appointments on the former spa's booksOutlined in the email announcing the spa's closure, an offer to redeem gift certificates for our other remaining businesses was madeThe gift certificates are being honored for spa retail and/or credit towards overnight stays at our historic InnOur legal counsel has advised us that we are under no obligation to even extend this courtesy as the Spa at the Villa is permanently closedWe chose to make this offer to our former clients as a show of goodwillMs [redacted] was advised when she called in what the gift certificates would be redeemable for and honored forIf you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me at 317-916-Thank you, [redacted] Properietor

Our front desk is staffed at the Inn at the Villa around the clockWe do not require an appointment to pick up a keyWe do ask guests for an arrival time to accommodate- as much as possible- early arrivalsIn other words, our housekeepers clean rooms in order of arrival timesMr [redacted] simply arrived prior to the room being ready to occupyTo address the issue of Mr [redacted] 's accusations about me 'lying' to him- there are two Jeneane/Jennene's that work at VillaI am the owner (Jeneane) and the other Jennene works at the front deskJennene located the key as the housekeepers had not returned it the front desk yetWe apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.We had an HVAC specialist (located only blocks from the inn) check the room immediately upon Mr [redacted] 's reporting of the room being too hotNothing was found to be wrong with the systemThe day in question, was one of those days when the morning is cool and the afternoon is hotHad Mr [redacted] allowed the HVAC system a bit of time, he would have found it to get very cold in the roomWe tested it upon his departure and confirmed all was functioning properlyMr [redacted] refused to allow enough time for the room to coolOur guests have direct control over the thermostat in this roomMr [redacted] was offered our Room Suite with King-size bed, fireplace and whirlpool tub as an immediate remedy but he declinedWe offered this upgrade at no additional charge but Mr [redacted] refused to even look at the roomWe offered a alternative even though there was nothing wrong with the room in questionWe do have a day cancellation policy for non-special event periodsWe do uphold our policiesMr [redacted] was made aware of this policy at the time of booking and when it was confirmed in an email to himThank you, Jeneane L [redacted] Proprietor

Dear [redacted] ,Villa Inn MotelSBeach Blvd.Anaheim, CA 92804ID: [redacted] We received your letter regarding the recent marketplace transaction with a concerned consumer about trying to rent one of our roomsWe are sorry for any misunderstanding or inconvenience that may have occurred.Our business is an independent business so it's small, we have limited number of rooms available for renting as they are open to usWe also have a first come first serve policyThat means we don't make reservations or hold roomsI would like to address one of the comments made by the consumer regarding "the rooms only being available on certain days." The rooms are advertised as they become open and available for renting We do get people who are waasking about extended stay that have not even seen our [redacted] ad, if the room is available at that time and they wish to rent it, then the room is not available for renting to someone else until the rented person is checked out.We are taking the consumers complaint seriously, as we wish to give the best costumer service we canThank you for bring to our notice this issue so that we may be able to avoid any future misunderstandings from occurring and would also like to apologize to the costumer for any trouble they may have had.Regards,Managing StaffVilla Inn Motel

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolutionThey post a dozen ads on *** Daily advertising rate of $a weekWhen I visited the first time it was midweek and I was told only available for weekly but week didn't start until MondayMonday I called and was told it was rented I went through this everday for weeks This was such a big deal as the price was incredibleBut every time I go in person or call it's always bookedDo you know how easy it is for them to day it's rented ? They lie lie lie because nobody would ever check How fair is that? They run dozens of ads daily.....only advertising for $210..,no other ads for the "regular room"
If the regular rooms are the only ones ever empty then why focus 100% of your ads on a room that's never ever available.why? Why not advertise for the room that's empty? its a scam that's whyNot only is this a classic case of bait and switch which is a misdemeanor in certain cases, but they also fail to post room prices in there office area leaving customers clueless and giving owner opportunity to charge whatever he feels like.
As nice as the owners explanation sounded it is all a lieI can show phone records showing dozens and dozens of phone calls made And it's discouraging that They are flagrantly breaking the law and instead of repercussions they are being rewarded by continuing to market in this fashionI hope you are able to see past their lies and prosecute them accordinlyThank you,

A message was sent via email announcing the closure to all spa guests who had registered for our email service. Personal phone calls were made to all clients who had appointments on the former spa's books.
Outlined in the email announcing the spa's closure, an offer to redeem gift certificates for our other remaining businesses was made. The gift certificates are being honored for spa retail and/or credit towards overnight stays at our historic Inn. Our legal counsel has advised us that we are under no obligation to even extend this courtesy as the Spa at the Villa is permanently closed. We chose to make this offer to our former clients as a show of goodwill.
Ms. [redacted] was advised when she called in what the gift certificates would be redeemable for and honored for.

I fully understand this business will do nothing and the owner is more interested in the one nights fee rather than a return customer over and over again

Nothing was found to be wrong with the system. The day in question, was one of those days when the morning is cool and the afternoon is hot. We offered a alternative even though there was nothing wrong with the room in question. We do have a 7 day cancellation policy for non-special event periods. We do uphold our policies. Mr. [redacted] was made aware of this policy at the time of booking and when it was confirmed in an email to him.
