I am rejecting this response because:***'s Response: [redacted] did not at any time "yell" at anyone Clearly, Ms [redacted] added quite a bit of dialog for dramatic effect I find it very difficult to believe that an unhappy year old had the ability to cause her so much distress and anguish I do however believe that [redacted] was upset and she did indicate that she repeated several times, why didn't you call us? Why didn't you email us? Not having a forwarding address is not a valid reason for not letting us know that we might have mistakenly left items in an otherwise clean apartment Our rent was on an au***atic deduction from the date we moved in They took out the same amount every month and never at one time did they indicate that they were not debiting the correct amount (to my knowledge we were paying the proper amount) Only after our year lease was up did they tell us that they had made a mistake At that time they did raise our rent and said it was because they had not been charging for the garage for the past year [redacted] said they had been doing us a favor by not making us pay it sooner This sketchy increase and of our vehicles being vandalized resulted in our decision to move from the complex I have several email's that I can forward which will clearly show that [redacted] purposely did NOT tell us about left behind items Also, the move out paperwork that was emailed to me states that "items were left in a closet" For [redacted] and [redacted] to say that the painters and maintenance saw them on the floor and must have assumed they were trash is ridiculous Final lie by ***: I never at one time spoke to [redacted] on the phoneNever, not once!***'s response:I do not believe that [redacted] was ever going to offer a settlement I also find it hard to believe that [redacted] would deny that I wrote a Yelp review since clearly my name is listed on the review That would be silly In response to the move-in/move-out inspection [redacted] stated that I had turned in a form with my notes after our first week of living in the apartment This form was not included in the move out documents The last page has my signature but that signature does not go with the paperwork they submitted in the email When we moved it was hot- Sept 10, 100+ degrees outside Not until it started to get cold did we realize that we left behind well over $in coats Was it an oversight by us? yes Was it WRONG for [redacted] or [redacted] to not pick up the phone or email me? It really would have been the right and moral thing to do If you are trying to practice good business I believe you would at least attempt to let someone know I have pictures and videos of our apartment of when we moved out I had a feeling that they would try to take advantage of us when we moved out so I wanted to protect myself My photos/video clearly show a clean apartment There is a lot of fabricated information in the move out paperwork provided by ***They charged us $"trash removal" I guess we were charged to throw the coats out In my opinion they did not act in good faith When we moved out of our previous apartment, not only did we get a glowing review we received our deposit back minus a standard carpet cleaning fee If you look online, you can clearly see in other reviews that many other people have complained about [redacted] being rude and condescending About poor management and people feeling like they were taken advantage of I feel that we should be compensated for the loss of our items due to their unwillingness to call or email, however, I also do not expect to receive anything from them I hope at least the items were donated to a thrift store and not thrown into the trash I have considered small claims court but it would simply be on principal and I just cannot imagine wasting my time I hope that the Revdex.com can at least protect future tenants from being taken advantage of.Please let me know if you would like to see my photos or the video of the apartment when we moved out.Thank you, [redacted] ***

First Response from Assistant Manager *** ***. I received a phone call from *** *** on Nov27thShe stated that she left some jackets and sweaters in the unit and wanted to know if we still had them. I let her know that if resident's turn in the keys to the unit, generally
when stuff is left in the unit we throw it away. She began to yell at me stating "I'M SORRY THAT YOU HAVE STUPID A@@ PEOPLE WORKING FOR YOU". WHY COULD'NT YOU HAVE CALLED US FOR OUR STUF! I tried to explain to her the procedure of a move out. She kept interrupting me and accusing me of stealing there stuff. She repeated that we have stupid a@@ people working over there, and steal stuffShe asked me to email the information, and agreed to do so. She kept calling the office and said she will not stop until she gets the emailI was shaken up and upset so I was trying to gather my thoughts together so I didn't want to react in a unprofessional manner. I did pull the file out and I tried to organize the email and explain the charges to her via email. In my defense, we are always here to help the residents or past residents regarding any questions they have but if they end up cursing at me, condescending or yelling at me it makes me feel overwhelmed, degrading and hurtfulThat is exactly how this tenant made me feel. I do remember emailing the mother " *** ***" on 9/25/requesting the forwarding address. She never responded, so we ended up sending it the this last address and the move out statement that we send out was never returned back to us as non deliverable. Regarding these residents these residents did break some rules on the lease. She a had several pets and didn't pay any deposits, and she also sign the lease to pay for the garage fee of $but only paid for one month, and once we noticed we just waived the garage fee to try to defuse any situations that they might dispute. I believe *** talked to *** yesterday, and tried to again explain that the move out was days ago, and let her know we will see what we could do, and once we came in this morning we received a compliant from the Revdex.com. Once we get a complaint from them they we respond to the Revdex.com and go from there, but the mother *** *** called and was arguing with *** and stated shes going to do a review and etc. Hopefully you guys don't get lost in this email.__________________________________________________________________________... response from Manager *** ***I received a phone call from *** *** today, Nov 17th at around 1:pm. I started by saying that I was responding with a settlement but ask her why her Mom wrote a Yelp review and why she called the Revdex.com. She denied the Yelp review was written. Then change the subject to why we forged the moinspection. I looked at the inspection and said are you saying that is not your Mother's signature? She first said yes then changed to that is her signature but the rest of the form is not is not. I explain that *** filled out the form and *** then ***'s Mother, (also a roommate) then read it and signed it. *** did amid that she was at part blame for not noticing the jacking were missing for months. The problem I had talking with *** is she keep changing subject before I can answer. I said we can only communicate with her by email. When it comes to what may of happen to the jackets, I believe our painters may have taken any items they found in the areas where they might be painting and placed it in pile on the floor. Due to the painters back log of jobs, they didn't get to this apartment until days later, Sep22, 2017. Our maintenance person might of saw the items on the floor and though it was items were trash. The maintenance person didn't get there until Sep23, 2017. Due to this was over months ago, makes it hard for us to figure out what may of happen with the jackets. After *** has called our Company, we had settle by zeroing out the balance

I am rejecting this response because:[redacted]'s Response:[redacted] did not at any time "yell" at anyone.  Clearly, Ms. [redacted] added quite a bit of dialog for dramatic effect.  I find it very difficult to believe that an unhappy 22 year old had the ability to cause her so much distress and anguish.  I do however believe that [redacted] was upset and she did indicate that she repeated several times, why didn't you call us?  Why didn't you email us?  Not having a forwarding address is not a valid reason for not letting us know that we might have mistakenly left items in an otherwise clean apartment.  Our rent was on an au[redacted]atic deduction from the date we moved in.  They took out the same amount every month and never at one time did they indicate that they were not debiting the correct amount (to my knowledge we were paying the proper amount).  Only after our 1 year lease was up did they tell us that they had made a mistake.  At that time they did raise our rent and said it was because they had not been charging for the garage for the past year.  [redacted] said they had been doing us a favor by not making us pay it sooner.  This sketchy increase and 2 of our vehicles being vandalized resulted in our decision to move from the complex.  I have several email's that I can forward which will clearly show that [redacted] purposely did NOT tell us about left behind items.  Also, the move out paperwork that was emailed to me states that "items were left in a closet".  For [redacted] and [redacted] to say that the painters and maintenance saw them on the floor and must have assumed they were trash is ridiculous.  Final lie by [redacted]:  I never at one time spoke to [redacted] on the phone. Never, not once![redacted]'s response:I do not believe that [redacted] was ever going to offer a settlement.  I also find it hard to believe that [redacted] would deny that I wrote a Yelp review since clearly my name is listed on the review.  That would be silly.  In response to the move-in/move-out inspection.  [redacted] stated that I had turned in a form with my notes after our first week of living in the apartment.  This form was not included in the move out documents.  The last page has my signature but that signature does not go with the paperwork they submitted in the email.  When we moved it was hot- Sept 10, 100+ degrees outside.  Not until it started to get cold did we realize that we left behind well over $500.00 in coats.  Was it an oversight by us? yes.  Was it WRONG for [redacted] or [redacted] to not pick up the phone or email me?  It really would have been the right and moral thing to do.  If you are trying to practice good business I believe you would at least attempt to let someone know.  I have pictures and videos of our apartment of when we moved out.  I had a feeling that they would try to take advantage of us when we moved out so I wanted to protect myself.  My photos/video clearly show a clean apartment.  There is a lot of fabricated information in the move out paperwork provided by [redacted]. They charged us $25.00 "trash removal".  I guess we were charged to throw the coats out.  In my opinion they did not act in good faith.  When we moved out of our previous apartment, not only did we get a glowing review we received our deposit back minus a standard carpet cleaning fee.  If you look online, you can clearly see in other reviews that many other people have complained about [redacted] being rude and condescending.   About poor management and people feeling like they were taken advantage of.  I feel that we should be compensated for the loss of our items due to their unwillingness to call or email, however, I also do not expect to receive anything from them.  I hope at least the items were donated to a thrift store and not thrown into the trash.  I have considered small claims court but it would simply be on principal and I just cannot imagine wasting my time.  I hope that the Revdex.com can at least protect future tenants from being taken advantage of.Please let me know if you would like to see my photos or the video of the apartment when we moved out.Thank you,[redacted]
