the product leaked at the first use,and I was told by a person at Coburn they knew they had a problem with some of the nipples. nowhere in the specs does it say it can't be used for pigs. just another excuse to not stand behind the product

This product was sold to the end-user by one of our customers, an online retailer. In my discussion with the end-user, he indicated that he was feeding both goats and piglets, and that the rubber nipples leaked the first day. It was determined that the nipples in his feeder were defective, replacements were sent but not in a timely manner.
 
However, in my contact with the end-user, I specifically indicated that the nipples were not intended for piglets as they develop sharp teeth at a very young age and can damage the nipples prematurely. This use is not covered under warranty. On our website, in all of our brochures and catalogs, as well as the website for the retailer, this feeder is clearly identified as "Milk Bar Nurser for Lambs and Kids (goats)". It would be superfluous to list every animal for which use of this feeder is not recommended.
 
It is our expectation that upon replacement of the defective nipples, the feeder will function as intended.

The feeder leaked on the first use and was NOT damaged by the pigs. By the time they got around to sending new nipples I had already weaned the pigs. NEVER got to use it on anything. Very poor response time!! I had to keep calling back
