Village at Blue Lake Condominium Association

I would strongly encourage anyone interested in living at Village at Blue Lake to reconsider their decision. I had a very negative experience living here. The parking is very difficult. Although there are three bedroom apartments, the community is not set up to hold three residents within a three bedroom apartment. Parking was a constant struggle. As an owner or renter, you are not allowed to park in guest spots. If you do, your vehicle will be towed. Even if a friend visits, his/her car has the potential to be towed. My roommates and I paid hundreds in towing fees. In addition, we overheard the gate guard disclosing that the Village receives a cut from the towing company. When we talked to neighbors and members of the board, it was common knowledge that embezzlement was taking place. The leadership was very corrupt and power hungry. Also, the association is incredibly hard to contact. I've been receiving water bills for over a year even though I do not live at the Village anymore. If you are looking to rent or sell, do not live here.
