Mr [redacted] purchased a VW Cabriolet from us on August The purchase price was $Plus tax and titleThe vehicle was sold and Mr [redacted] test drove the car several times before buying itAbout a month after he purchased the car , he contacted us stating that the security system kept going off at random timesEven though the car was sold AS-IS, we had him bring it back in and we replaced the security computer and sent it to Byers VW to have the security system re-programmed We absorbed the total cost of this repair, which was nearly $Mr [redacted] has been driving the car for over months and last week he called to ask if we would help him fix his front suspension, and threatened to report us to the Revdex.com if we wouldn't fix itI don't know what is the problem with his suspension, but the car was sold and we have been very helpful to Mr [redacted] We take our customer service very seriously, as evidenced by our A+ rating with the Revdex.comUnfortunately when a customer buys a year old used car they will eventually have to do some serviceAt this point I can't offer Mr [redacted] any more help with his carThank you for your help in this matter
I am rejecting this response because: They did not absorb the total cost of repairing my Security SystemI purchased the part and they installed it and when I went to [redacted] they explained that we could get new keys online and that they would charge us to re-programThe Security System is still not completely workingAs I am not a mechanic, there was no way for me to know that the car was in such bad conditionI asked if it needed a Front Wheel Alignment when I purchased it and was told noMy daughter has only been driving the car for about months due to having her privileges suspended for an early accident until JanuarySince then she has been driving less than a mile to and from school
