So I went to the dealership in November to buy a vehicle (brand New HRV) and everything was well until they told me they "lost the second key" and would have to order a new one inAn inconvenience but stuff happensWhen I picked up my car, it was not in the delivery bay but just outsideInterior was super clean, the exterior not so muchThe salesman *** called me a week later to tell me the key was in and I just needed to bring the car in to get it programmed immediatelyI was under the impression they would do this "immediately" upon my arrival but had to wait hours for this to happenI chalked it up to a one time bad experience and left
*** had told me that if I refer a friend/family whatever to Honda to buy a vehicle, we would get $in cash and $in credit towards parts and servicesIn April 2016, my girlfriend and I went back to Honda to buy a new vehicle for herDespite having a different sales person (***) helps us (*** was off that Saturd

Replacement of the ignition swich, lock assembly and new key on November 4, in response to the key sticking in the ignition
Since the $replacement of the ignition switch, lock assembly on my Honda Fit on November the key has stuck times which is unacceptable for a part that is less than months old (most recently on January 2018)
On November 22, I brought the vehichle to Honda Village where Rehana *** checked the key and ignition but without replicating the sticking said there was nothing she could doShe consulted Murray *** and I showed him the original key and ignition which was now working; he witnessed this and agreed however said that the ignition was replaced because the key would stickMurray had the technition inspect the replacement ignition barrel, lubricate the pins and check the keys for burrs or deformityI was pleased with the service I received as I felt Murray fully understood that I did not want to be stranded on the roa

I bought used car from village honda and by the time I was fixing deal with sales manager, he agreed installing way remote starter and security system in my car and we fixed final price all includeBy the time of delivery, finance manager wanted me to charge $extra for those additional services and I explained about my discussion with sales guy and he agreed and made me signed paperworks without showing me actual price that he was going to charge me, and he put extra $for those services without even letting me knowSince I was financing my car, he only explained about my monthly payments instead off also explaining about total amount of financeingAnd lathe charged me separate for both services, which I came to know from my bankEven after charging extra amount, one service was not installed in my car, which I came to know after a week when I went in to honda for service, where one of the employee told me that your car has only way remote starter and not any se

On September 12,2018, I purchased a Honda CRV from Crowfoot Village Honda in CalgaryBoth the salesman and the Financial Service Representative at the dealership advised my husband and I that the warranty on the vehicle would be expiring in October As a result, we purchased an additional year warranty to ensure that if there were any mechanical or technical problems with the vehicle, that the repairs would be covered One month later, I received notification in the mail from *** that there is already an additional one year warranty on the vehicle which expires in October I called *** to complain about this ( as I now have warranties on the vehicle for one year)I was told that they could not help me that I would have to contact the dealership I E mailed the dealership to both the Sales Manager and the Financial Services Representative The Manager did not respond to my E mail and the Financial Services Representative responde

BEWAREVillage Honda is not trustworthy at all I've been through the ringer with this dealershipOn May 13/I invested $20,on a Ford Escape I paid for it and within half an hour of me driving it off the lots there's been huge issues Huge issues that they hide on a $20,vehicle! My dad moved out of town so I'm on my own for car shopping I'm a single independent woman, who know little about newer vehicles and unfortunately these guys have made me loose faith in humanity I trusted them They screwed me and as the months have passed more and more has come to light and now they won't even return phone calls or book me an appointment with a manager
The Sync system went black and they told me that my iphonewas messing with it and that I needed a new phoneAfter overnights without my SUV and it still not working, I took it to another dealership and there was a recall on it for that exact issue! Then within weeks of purchase, the vehicle was dying constantly I was getting it jumped every few days I took it to*** and the tech there told me the battery was sold to me at 30%It wouldn't even hold a chargeSo Village reluctantly paid for a new battery I live downtown and driving slower and over speed bumps I could hear a slight klunking in the front of the vehicleI was told to not worry about it and that I'm not used to a newer vehicle engine soundSo I trusted thatAfter weeks of owning it I saw my dad, he got into the SUV and instantly commented on the klunkingI called Sean *** (sales manager) at Village again, and he raised his voice and said that at some point I have to take vehicle ownership responsibilityAnd that my dad doesn't know anything I raised my voice back and made sure he knows that my dad is a licensed mechanic 20+ years, licences airplane mechanic and one of the best turbine engine mechanics But it's not my dads problem to fix it, it's theirs So I had to bring my SUV in again and sure enough, the ball joints were worn down to nothing and it was a $fixAnd another days without my vehicleBy this point I have invested every day off dealing with this for over almost monthsNo compensationI just bought new tires for the SUV because yes, it was sold to me with absolutely no tredI had taken the vehicle to***All who suggested I get new tires as soon as possible because of the condition of themWhen I had new tires put on at *** they informed me that these jerks sold me the vehicle, which is a wheel drive super charge engine, with totally different tire on the back with different tredWhich is pretty serious Because that messes with the drive trainAnd on top of it, that rim is completely bentSo I'll need new rims too eventuallyNow I've owned this vehicle for months and the drivers side door is broken, the silver Ford decals are coming off on both sides The plastic that goes around the window and the piece that goes around the wheel to protect the paint are all coming off It's literally the biggest disappointment of my life I saved for years to buy my first expensive investment vehicle At this point I will not deal with Sean *** because he tries to mask all the problems and always tells me that there is no problemWhen every time I've been right and legit about my concerns I have now spoken to the sales manager in Service Chris *** who was helpful at the time, and I explained my case in detail, he told me that he would give the information to someone higher up who can help me And NO ONE HAS CALLED ME and it's been a month I've been more than patientKind and professionalEmotional at times because I feel like they stole my $20,and this vehicle is worth $10,at the very mostI want to trade it for another one because I do not trust it and this entire horrible experience has taken away from my "special new vehicle purchase" Now it's a burden that's costing me so much time and money
Next I call *** and see what they can do to help me

Went in to get more information and test drive a Honda Civic for my wife, staff were extremely unhelpful and stand-offishEventually went to test drive a car, the staff member did not even speak in the car-did not inform me about safety features or any other information related to the carMy wife wanted to purchase a civic so ended up going to Airdrie Honda where we purchased a car about a week after this incidentThe Royal Oak location is much more convenient but service was much better in AirdrieStaff members need to know that they can't treat people rudely and if you are in the business of selling cars, then do just that...don't act like your time is too valuable to do your job

I put down a deposit, for a new vehicle and signed for it etcAfter many issues, the dealership GM then decided to cancel it
And refuse to sell me the product with which we had both signed a contract of deposit/sale for

My experience with this dealership was with a used Honda Civic todayI had placed a deposit on this vehicle until I was able to see it with GeraldThe salesman did not tell me it would be non refundable or he would hold it until the vehicle sold to another customer, if I did not persue to purchase itHe assured me the vehicle was in prestine condition, just the opposite of what I seen when I flew from Fort Mcmurray to see itHe never offered me the car proof report or anything, money grab at best I presume as there didnt seem to be a care for me the customerWhen asked to speak with the manager while I had my legal advisor on the phone this took a few minutes Now Barry (manager) comes out and tells me hang up the phone I will get your Dam money Wow was I shocked and upset, my legal advisor recommend I take this action in making the complaint as she heard what was said and once I recieved my deposit to leave, she booked me a flight home I would not recommend this experience to anyone and why the dealership thinks that consumers should pay for such behavior Barry the gentleman who took such offensive attitude with me is the manager of the dealership so good luck if you still purchase from themI didn't Ken D
