Village Inn Restaurant

Sunday 03/01/20 at 9:23 pm Myself, my husband and my 5 children walked into this location where the waitress and manager were vacuuming and cleaning so we waited about 6 minutes to be acknowledged. Finally the server comes over instead of greeting us she says just so you know we close in 30 minutes. I tell my kids to hurry and pick what they want so when the waitress comes we are ready. about 7 minutes into waiting a white older couple walks in the manager greets and seats them. We are still waiting at this point no drink order or anything has been taken. The waitress who at this point we are waiting on walks over to the couple takes their order as soon as shes done I approach her and ask, did you not see us waiting? we were here about 15 minutes total before that couple and you ignored us. She says "oh I didn't know you were ready" I said had you came by and acknowledged us or checked in you would have seen we had been ready. I ask where the manager is and shes behind me and says im right here what do you need? I said you guys obviously seen we had been waiting long before that couple and you ignored us? the manager says well you guys came at the same time. I say you & I both know we were 1st in fact your witness just admitted to seeing us 1st but saying she didn't know we were ready. the managers say well you can leave. excuse me? I begin to get really frustrated at the lack of professionalism and poor attitude and tell them it was because of race we were being treated like that. I have never been treated in such a disrespectful matter. As a manager myself I was outraged at how poorly the manager acted.
