Dear [redacted] complaint handler @ Revdex.comMy letter tells what happenedI am sorry my integrity is being questionedWe do not treat guests as she describesNor, would I respond to a guest with the words she accuses me of sayingThere is no reason that I would be rude to guests or threaten them as she did meAs I shouted at me that she was not going to stay and wanted her money back to immediately refundedShe failed to mention that my young desk clerk who left the towels in their room apologized to these lady guests over and over in front of meShe explained to them that she that she wanted to make sure they had had clean towels as requested of her, when she got back to the room, so she went and put them in the roomShe was quite upset by their unnecessary rudeness and their refusing to accept her apology.Perhap the writer's Integrity should be questioned? In her letter she writes," We wish we had taken the room up the road with the view of the lake with beds." Yet, she begins er letter -"Just to clarify, we had no other cholce for hotels in the area as it was Labor Day weekend." Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, [redacted] Just to clarify,we had no other choice for hotels in the area as it was Labor day weekend,and if Angie new there were other hotels in the area thru her lodging association,she should have recommended thatSecond the complain we made to the night lerk was for the people in the room above us that kept jumping and walking around loudlyI never even mentioned the men out side untill the following morningAs for the room being clean,it was presentable but far from clean We left early Saturday morning to go to the Glen,my sister went into the office and got me a banana and herself a bagel.That was breakfast.We never went in and sat down to enjoy breakfast as Angie stated.My sister asked them to leave clean towels,not realizing that would not include taking the Dirty onesWhen we returned and found they had left the dirty towels in the room it was the straw that broke the camels backTo many things had happened including no internet as promised so I went up front to complainOnce I voiced my concerns Angie said maybe you should check outShe originally was gonna refund all my money ,she asked if we ate breakfast/( proving she was not their at that time) and I said I had a bananaAngie explained that being I had ate breakfast she would only be able to refund one nightShe was so condisending that my sister said I am going out side so I don't blow up because between Angie and they night clerk they were being so rudeI did tell her that I was gonna file a complaint and let every media I could what had happened and not to stay at the hotel,Angie said I will respond that you just can'T make some people happyI did speak to the men who were in the room next to us and they said they experience the same things,rudeness ectWe wish we had taken the room up the road with the view of the lake with two beds.We did not because we did not want to move our stuff the next day,which we ended up having to do anyways Reguard less of the outcome of this complaint.I will make sure that I let everyone I know and and any media I can to not stay at this HotelIf you go to travelocity and read the feed back you will find that the very thing that happened to us has happened to othersThe smallest part of this complaint is about the money,I truly feel that Angie is so use to this that she has a standard answer worked up in her headWe did find another hotel for our saturday night but it was not close to the glen due to the holiday weekend ,which caused us to alter our plansWith so many complaints it seems that they would have to correct their issuesI do have a few pictures of the door gap and the trim that was falling off which allowed bugs into the so call clean room

We offer all guests the chance to check their rooms before registeringWe are proud of our business and take pride in our clean roomsIf a room is not up to a guest's satisfaction, they do not have to stay As these ladies told you themselves, I offered to show them the rooms available and happily did soI would not be in business if I treated a guest like they accuse me of doingCustomers are important to our businessI was concerned because both rooms available had only one bed and the ladies had asked for a room with bedsI watched them check out the room they chose inside and out before registeringThey wanted the lower priced room in the Motel buildingBoth ladies were very nice and said the room was fineI made them aware that other motels in town had vacancies with rooms that had bedsWe have a lodging Assocand know who has whatThat did not change their mindIt was their choice to stayThe only complaint that they made to the office that night was about a group of men who were sitting outside their rooms talkingThe night manager made the men aware of the ladies complaint and they were in their rooms by 11:00pm not am.The next morning I greeted both ladies as they were eating our complimentary breakfastThey never said a wordIn talking with our staff the desk clerk said they told her they wanted no room service and just wanted clean towelsThe desk clerk knowing the maids were busy decided to drop off the towels herselfShe wanted them to have their towels in the room when they finished eatingThey had a do not disturb sign on their door; otherwise their maid would have put clean towels in the room and removed the used ones as well as done the whole roomOur pool is spotless and checked times a day as required by New York State and we are checked by the NYS Health Dept.Later on the second day of their stay the ladies came to the office and loudly complained that they had their worst night and were checking outThe only complaints she mentioned was that wet towels were not removed from her room by the time they finished eating and men were talking outside her room unto amBoth ladies were yelling at the clerk when I walked out to the front deskI never suggested they check outThey told me in loud voices that they were not staying the second night and wanted their money backI refunded their second night stay immediatelyThey proceeded to loudly say," is that all you are going to doIF you do not refund the night we stayed; we will write you up on social media and destroy your business." She said she could have had a room down the road for $The other woman yelled at me, "I better leave now or someone is going to be sorry."and then she stomped out of the doorThe only rude people were the women who wanted evidently a free night stayOther guests checking in at the time who observed their threatening behavior commented how rude they wereWe had a full house that weekend with no other complaints' and lots of complimentsWe try our best to make sure our guests are happy.Respectfully Yours,Angie [redacted]

and happily did so. I would not be in business if I treated a guest like they accuse me of doing. Customers are important to our business. I was concerned because both rooms available had only one bed and the ladies had asked for a room with 2 beds. I watched them check out the room they chose inside and out before registering. They wanted the lower priced room in the Motel building. Both ladies were very nice and said the room was fine. I made them aware that other motels in town had vacancies with rooms that had 2 beds. We have a lodging Assoc. and know who has what. That did not change their mind. It was their choice to stay. The only complaint that they made to the office that night was about a group of men who were sitting outside their rooms talking. The night manager made the men aware of the ladies complaint and they were in their rooms by 11:00pm not 1 am.The next morning I greeted both ladies as they were eating our complimentary breakfast. They never said a word. In talking with our staff the desk clerk said they told her they wanted no room service and just wanted clean towels. The desk clerk knowing the maids were busy decided to drop off the towels herself. She wanted them to have their towels in the room when they finished eating. They had a do not disturb sign on their door; otherwise their maid would have put clean towels in the room and removed the used ones as well as done the whole room. Our pool is spotless and checked 4 times a day as required by New York State and we are checked by the NYS Health Dept.Later on the second day of their stay the ladies came to the office and loudly complained that they had their worst night and were checking out. The only complaints she mentioned was that wet towels were not removed from her room by the time they finished eating and men were talking outside her room unto 2 am.. Both ladies were yelling at the clerk when I walked out to the front desk. I never suggested they check out. They told me in loud voices that they were not staying the second night and wanted their money back. I refunded their second night stay immediately. They proceeded to loudly say," is that all you are going to do. IF you do not refund the night we stayed; we will write you up on social media and destroy your business." She said she could have had a room down the road for $35.00. The other woman yelled at me, "I better leave now or someone is going to be sorry."and then she stomped out of the door. The only rude people were the 2 women who wanted evidently a free night stay. Other guests checking in at the time who observed their threatening behavior commented how rude they were.
