Any place that gives you 2 months free and doesnt charge you to apply, should scream out to you-DONT DO IT!. Well I ignored all those signs...I signed for a 2 bed unfurnished apartment 2 weeks before my move in date, provided them with the security deposit and prorated rent and first month, well the day of the move, found out they gave my apartment away, and I was sitting there with all my stuff in the parking lot....they had to quickly scatter to look for an apartment for me, which I had paid and waited for a 1st floor apartment. they emptied a furnished one because I wouldn't pay the extra for furnishings...I get in to my apartment and I can tell there are roach carcasses on the kitchen light fixture 6 of them, theres termites coming down from the ceiling and the bathroom has a huge hole and smells like sewer, I immediately take pictures and complain to the front office. they do nothing. first week, cockroaches crawling everywhere in the kitchen, I call and complain, they do alight spray and it does nothing to the cockroaches. by this time they're crawling all over the bedrooms and bathrooms. I go to the front office and complain in front of potential renters and only this way they send a professional to have if fog bombed. 3 times every 2 weeks. they (management) said I had brought the roaches...a month later they had to fog bomb the whole building...they are still fog bombing. its been 14 months. my lease thankfully is up. but thats not where the problems begin or end. theres a high turn around of tenants there and its ghetto, drug dealers and all sorts of shady people...and theyre security guards treat you like a criminal. we came home one day, parked and was walking to our apartment when the guard approached us and asked us for ID. we werent doing anything but walking normally to our apartment, was he racist? who knows but he said that it was the management that asked him to be that way...its like living in a military compound. my boyfriend was visiting me one day and I asked him to stay in my apartment for a couple of hours cause they were doing an inspection and I wanted someone there to see what they were doing...well the next day, I got a 10 day notice to evict cause he was there that 3 hour span, they said he was living there, and he wasnt. they carpet has been de-threading in odd places in straight lines and every time I vacuum it sucks a little more of it, I told them, and they said my pet whom I had for a total of 2 months a 6 year old dog had done it, dogs dont claw at carpet, they wont do anything about it cause its only 5 years old. -they approved my dog before I got the dog, took my deposit and charged me every month pet fee, a couple months later they put my dog on the not allowed list and had me get rid of my dog in 24 hours or I would be evicted. another 10 day notice. said if I was ever seen with a dog for even 1 second even if it was with someone visiting me who had a dog I would be evicted. pool and courts are always closed on weekends and the hot seasons...the maintenance is always looking at you up and down. I gave my move out notice and they retaliate with another "fog bomb"notice on my door that same day. lol...that's all I have to say. oh! my car has been vandalized 5 times tires slashed, my sliding door was broken with a rock once. they charge for placing screens on your patio 10 A MONTH!!! they charge you for repairs.
STEER CLEAR....BUYER BEWARE...I have pictures to prove all of this.
