I have only lived here a few months and I am extremely unhappy. First of all my apartment was infested with roaches when I moved in. After complaining to the front office, the Property Manager told me that I brought the roaches to the apartment and that I needed to hurry up and get rid of them before they get into the other apartments. I didn't have roaches before I moved here and I knew then that I was going to have problems with this place. After cleaning my apartment one weekend I looked behind the refrigerator and there was a nest of roaches. I had to contact the Regional Manager on my on to get anything done. He was very nice and helped us resolve our issue fast. He had the complex order a new refrigerator , which maintenance put right on top of the dead roaches that were under the old refrigerator. I am now dealing with mold and mildew in my apartment, and most of my neighbors are having the same problem . It is in my window seals and near my sliding doors. I clean it and it returns. Things that I have had for years are now ruined, clothes, belts, shoes, hats. The furniture that I do have is ruined now because mold has grown all over the back of it. My son has had Bronchitis 2 times since I have moved here and my family keeps getting sick. The office wants us to leave our AC on between 70-75 or turn the AC unit fan on all day. Are they going to pay my large electric bill that is likely to occur from constantly running my AC? I have now been keeping the AC unit fan on when I am gone but it doesn't seem like anything has changed, seems like my house is more humid and I still have mold. It has been very cool outside since I have moved here and I usually open my windows or turn the fans on when I am home. Where ever I have lived in the past, during the winter months I usually don't turn my AC unit on and I never have had a problem with MOLD! The office staff is very rude especially [redacted] the Property Manager and she blames every problem on the tenant. Maintenance comes in your apartment without giving a 12 hour notice like the lease says, and they never leave work-orders behind to show they have entered your apartment and why. They also entered my apartment after my boyfriend told the manager that he didn't want them in our apartment unless he was there because he wanted to see what kind of mold investigation is done. I can't wait to get out of this place. My apartment is so uncomfortable because of the humidity and very unhealthy due to the mold , mildew and bugs. I also feel very unsafe knowing that maintenance can just come in my apartment at anytime without any notice. I am so disappointed because these apartments are nice but they have a lot of hidden issues .
