Dear Sirs, We are in receipt of the above-referenced complaintI have fully reviewed [redacted] 's move out charges from Vista del NorteShe did in fact have listed on the MoInspection form that the carpet did have high traffic areasI have removed the $charge from *** [redacted] 's Final Accounting Statement for the carpet damage However, pursuant the terms of the Lease Contract the carpet and cleaning charges will remain on the accountAlso, the Pet Addendum was signed by [redacted] at move in and regardless of how long a pet is in the unit there will still be a standard Deflea charge at the time of move out With the above mentioned adjustment [redacted] will receive a refund of $and we consider this matter closed [redacted] Account Resolution

Tell us [redacted] > January 16, Revdex.com [redacted] RE: [redacted] Dear Sirs, We are in receipt of the above mentioned complaintMs [redacted] brought the ant problem she was having to my attention in September, Per our conversation on September 17, she explained to me that pest control had sprayed the interior of her apartment several times, but the ants still persistedI called the Supervisor at Worldwide Pest Control and scheduled a time to go into the interior of her apartment to check for ant activity On September 26th, I met with the Supervisor of Worldwide in Ms [redacted] ’s apartment to inspect for ant activity and only found a few dead antsI called Ms [redacted] to report that we did not see any live activity but we did see a few dead antsAt this time she informed me that she was not seeing any live ant activity from the interior of the apartment but more on the exterior of the buildingI immediately contacted the Supervisor at Worldwide Pest Control again and explained to him that we needed the exterior of building sprayed again because we were still seeing ant activityWorldwide Pest Control came out that same day and sprayed a strong treatment that can only be sprayed twice a yearAt that time I asked Ms [redacted] to let me know if she saw anymore activity in her apartment so we could address the issue At the same time, we also discussed the possibility of transferring to a different unitHowever, Ms [redacted] told me that she wanted a guarantee that she would not have any pest control issuesI explained to Ms [redacted] that I could not guarantee that but we would address any pest control issues that may ariseMs [redacted] informed me that she did not want to transfer at that time On December 1st, Ms [redacted] wrote a letter to the Management Support Corporate Office stating that the ants had reappeared in the apartmentAfter receiving her letter I notified the Worldwide Pest Control Supervisor and ask that he come out again to inspect the interior of the apartment again On December 2nd, I met with the Supervisor of Worldwide in Ms [redacted] ’s apartment and the only live activity of ants that we saw was on a piece of food that had been left outI called to let Ms [redacted] know what we had found and she reported to me that she had sprayed Raid to get rid of the live antsI explained to her that she can not spray any type of chemical or insecticide in the apartment because it would counteract with the professional Pest Control treatmentWe also discussed that since she had sprayed Raid pest control would have to come out again to retreat the unit with their chemicals as the Raid had compromised their treatment Ms [redacted] did not report any further ant issues until the evening of December 23rd via our office voicemailAt that time she was set to have pest control come in and treat on the next available treatment day of December 30thOn December 29th, [redacted] called to discuss the Early Lease Termination with Ms [redacted] and what that agreement entailsOur office has yet to hear from you in regards to Ms [redacted] ’s decision The Villas of Vista del Norte provides an outstanding living experience including our dedication to the highest level of maintenance and service to our residentsWe have continuously and diligently responded to every work order placed by Ms [redacted] Respectfully, [redacted] Villas of Vista del Norte why here

I am rejecting this response because:It brings great dissatisfaction to read the response from [redacted] at the Villas of Vista Del Norte. To know that all information andcontact dates were not added and some of the information she provided wasuntrue. My very first encounter with the apartments about the ants was not with[redacted] and there were multiples calls and walk ins to the office before andafter speaking with her on multiple occasions. And it took more than onceperson to complain and emails to the CORPORATE OFFICE to get pest control touse a different spray for the apartments. I have kept a paper trail of emailswith corporate as well as the local office. On September 1st is finally after weeks of contacting the local office and me stating I would take further action that CORPORATE contacted me I remember calling into the office and speaking to [redacted]and asking if I could be moved to another unit ( this was not  an offer made by the apartment complex) andtheir response was they could not guarantee that there wouldn’t be any antissues in a new unit. While the apartment has come to spray in the apartment, thebuilding and also the trails that are connected to a lake behind our apartmentbuilding ……. There are still ants. When I spoke to [redacted] and she asked ifshe and worldwide could go and look into my apartment a day after I left avoicemail that I had a lot of ants in my apartment again she called me and toldme she didn’t see many but did see some dead ants. I advised her that I hadcleaned up the ants and why would I leave them over night crawling in myapartment. The best thing about all of this is that I have video of everysingle time there were ants overpowering my apartment and I advised theapartment and the corporate office of this. The day I told [redacted] that I hadsprayed raid she advised me not to spray because this would counteract whatWorldwide was doing and I NEVER SPRAYED THE RAID AGAIN. [redacted] sites that on December 1st I wrote a letterto the apartments stating the ants came back again, this was because prior tothat [redacted] called me and asked that I not contact corporate office but tocall her whenever I had an issue with the ants. Multiple times I had called theapartments before that and twice out of the times I called I didn’t get a returncall. I was told by [redacted] that they were having issues with the phone systemon one of those occasions and on another occasion in November, [redacted] stated itwas really busy around the holidays. [redacted] I am VERY disappointed in you for your responseand I explained this to you once I received your reponse from the Revdex.com when Icalled you on January 20, 2015 at 1:00 pm. And you stated to me that yourresponse to the Revdex.com you only were mentioning the times I spoke to you and notthe multiple times that I have contacted your office and spoken to differentpeople regarding this issue. We have to remember that I have video footage ofall the issues with the ants and each time I also contacted the office, each timethere were more than 100 ants and each time they came back.

We are in receipt of the above-referenced complaint. I have fully reviewed [redacted]'s move out charges from Vista del Norte. She did in fact have listed on the Move-In Inspection form that the carpet did have high traffic areas. I have removed the $271.34 charge from [redacted]...

[redacted]'s Final Accounting Statement for the carpet damage.
However, pursuant the terms of the Lease Contract the carpet and cleaning charges will remain on the account. Also, the Pet Addendum was signed by [redacted] at move in and regardless of how long a pet is in the unit there will still be a standard Deflea charge at the time of move out.
With the above mentioned adjustment [redacted] will receive a refund of $114.31 and we consider this matter closed.
