I am rejecting this response because: I am re-writing the response as I sent it before I was finished typing itThis started out me asking why someone other than my husband filled in the line for a tip and writing in the total, without our consentIt ends up with the manager accusing me of being a racist and accusing me of saying things to her, that were untrueShe said that I was hostile and said that only Vietnamese restaurants do these thingsI never said that, and if she allows you to hear her recording of our conversation, that she said that she recorded, you will not hear that, because it did not happenShe also said that I said that Vietnamese people, "steal the tip money"That was also not trueI did not say thatAgain listen to her so called recording of our conversation, and you will see that she made that upShe accused my bank of writing in the amounts, because her employees did not do it, and I said that Midcountry Bank told me that they had no way of doing it, and I said that only an employee of Vina Vietnamese would have had the opportunity of filling in the restaurant bill, and that is when she accused me of being a racistAt this point I just want her to know that I stand by my husband who states that he did not write in the $tip and the total and does remember writing his signature onlyI don't have the time or money to hire a hand writing expertAt this point the loss of $doesn't matterI am mostly upset about this woman accusing me of being a racist when I am notMy husband of years is a black African Americans, I am a white American and I am far from being a racist

My name is Twee [redacted] and I am the manager for Vina restaurant.   Here is my response to the complaint ID [redacted]:   Just for the background, this is the first complaint that we have in 31 years in business regarding the tip adjustment.   And here is how the story goes..... I got...

2 calls from the lady who claimed to be the wife of a customer that dined at our restaurant.  At the first call, I told her to check with her bank while I check my record of the dispute receipt ( we later were requested a copy of the receipt by the credit card processor which we sent)  At the second phone call, she began by stating that we put the tip on the credit card receipt and it was not her husband's note.... I told her that I checked with my employees who worked that day and they did not write the tip either.   I also told her the "7" and the "5" don't look like hand writing of any of us who work at the restaurant.  I have the original receipt and from the look of it, the ink of the signature and the number written matched and seem to come from the same person ( she admitted that it was her husband signature)  I am not an expert in hand writing recognition and.... I also don't want to speculate why the husband denied the hand written...   As the conversation went, she immediately turn hostile and stated " only Vietnamese restaurants do these thing" ( I wander how many Vietnamese restaurants that she has had this experiment) and I immediately stopped her and said " how could you say that about an entire race of people because of an unconfirmed action by some unknown person.... you are a racist".   She continued to say that " yes..the Vietnamese people do that" ( stole the tip money ).   I told her the conversation will ended because she is extremely bias and a racist.   I also told her if she really believe in her husband as I firmly believe in my employees, then we should put in the money, each of us pay half, to hire a hand writing expert to analyzer the hand written note.     This is principle and I stand my ground as some one tries to put down my people character.  We provide customer services to our great customers, but we will not stand the abuse when some one thinks one race is better than the others.   This is America and the time of putting down " the yellow Asians" is way passed.   Sincerely,   Twee [redacted]

I never said that, and if she allows you to hear her recording of our conversation, that she said that she recorded, you will not hear that, because it did not happen. She also said that I said that Vietnamese people, "steal the tip money". That was also not true. I did not say that. Again listen to her so called recording of our conversation, and you will see that she made that up. She accused my bank of writing in the amounts, because her employees did not do it, and I said that Midcountry Bank told me that they had no way of doing it, and I said that only an employee of Vina Vietnamese would have had the opportunity of filling in the restaurant bill, and that is when she accused me of being a racist. At this point I just want her to know that I stand by my husband who states that he did not write in the $7 tip and the total and does remember writing his signature only. I don't have the time or money to hire a hand writing expert. At this point the loss of $7 doesn't matter. I am mostly upset about this woman accusing me of being a racist when I am not. My husband of 30 years is a black African Americans, I am a white American and I am far from being a racist.I am not accusing any things that I did not hear.   On the phone, I could not and have no way to know what race is the correspondent and her husband.  Neither did I say the bank wrote in the tip amount... As I wrote in my previous correspond, we are in business for more than 30 years and this is the first problem with tip adjustment.... Why would any businesses would suddenly throw away good reputation for $7 ????? I am very upset when some one just said something at their pleasure and later don't remember it..... I suddenly don't want to spend money either, but for our principle, our reputation that I proposed to hire an expert to analyze the hand writing.  I firmly stand my position.
