Review: Good Afternoon,I traveled to New Orleans on business and visited Vincent Art Gallery to purchase some artwork which I have done before numerous times. I purchsed two remarque prints of Terrance Osborne (Hurricane Solutions #2 and Hurricane Solutions #3. I purchased the prints on 6/11/13 and order frame work to be completed and charged my credit card a total of $548.00. It is now four months later and I do not have my product and quite disappointed of the level of customer service I received. I've spoken numberous employees who were present at the time (let's say who decided to pick up the phone and did not make any progress). The unfortunate thing is that I had to resend the paperwork/receipts to show proof of purchase on October 7th and just don't understand why someone didn't notified me. I was also told that the owner had passed due to an illness which exlains the horrible customer service that I received to resolve this issue. Prior when I would visit New Orleans I would purchase other artwork from him and have it deliver to my work address for convenience and no issues. Fyi - I purchased 3 large prints and they would arrive on time as promised and I wouldn't have to track down my product. On the 7th, I managed to get a hold of a person who decided to pick up the phone ([redacted]) and he began to help solve the problem which was frustrating by itself because there was an error on the order which he said he will correct. Also it was mentioned that my information (mailing address) wasn;t on the form but my business card was attached. Really?!? I'm just don't understand why nobody called me if there was an issue since my business card was attached. Not one call except in the the early stage a month later letting me know that they were behind on orders and to give them more time so I did. I decided to take the high road and let folks do their process accordingly but now it is four months later and nothing. What really makes me upset, is that this is my hard own money and still nothing.Desired Settlement: I still want my professionally ordered framed prints and have them sent to my work address on the business card which is [redacted]. I feel that I should be offered a discount as well because of the lack of follow through. I've spoken with the [redacted] gentleman with the [redacted] style once - infact he said that it will be handled and no follow through from him which it was unfortunate. I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. Avoid Vincent Art!!!

Review: On August 3rd, 2013, my husband and I purchased two pieces of art from this gallery. We were told that we would receive the pieces via mail within 4-6 weeks. To date we have not received. We have attempted to call on many occasions. The artist and his wife have tried to call for us, I went to the address today to find that they are closed. I have tracked down the person working in the store who sold us the art, she says they owe her money as well and haven't responded to her. I have my receipt and want this art or at the very least a refund.Desired Settlement: Prefer the art but would at least like a refund

Review: I purchased a signed and numbered (200 of 200) French Quarter Fest poster and brought it to Vincent art gallery on Decatur St. The artist of the poster was at Vincent art so I got her to sign the poster, "to [redacted] and [redacted], happy FQF!" The gallery kept the poster for over 4 months while we constantly called and asked a status throughout this time. We were told that we would be called back but was never contacted once. Finally, two weeks ago we called and the gallery said that it was ready. We went to pick up the framed poster and it was the wrong color matting and the personalized message that the artist wrote was not on the poster even though the numbering 200 of 200 was correct. This means that the gallery must have forged the 200 of 200 numbering on the poster and/or the artists' signature not realizing that we had a personalized message written on the poster. The person working at the shop's response was that I must not have gotten the poster signed and did not offer any type of resolution, or a refund, or even the poster back.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund and the poster with the personalized message that we dropped off.

Review: On September 3, 2013 I placed an online order for two pieces of art with frames. On September 4, 2013 my bank account was debited in the amount of $188.42. As of today, November 15, 2013 I have still not received my order. I have called on at least 6 occasions during this times and keep getting different answers from a man named [redacted] such as the computers are down, the website is down, orders are backed up, I'm sure it has shipped, it must have shipped to the wrong place, etc." On one of my last phone calls on November 8, 2013 I indicated I would fax my bank statement to show proof of the amount deducted and requested a refund. I faxed my statement on the same day and received confirmation it went through successfully. Today I called again because I received no reply. I was told by [redacted] that my fax was not received and then that it was received by the deceased owners wife but she was out of town. Each time I am promised a phone call but never receive one. I have uploaded a copy of my bank statement to you as well. See page 2 of 2, circled item. Thank you! [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like a refund as I have no desire to do continued business with this company.

Review: On April 19th I purchased a [redacted] print and picked out frame. Paid via credit card at that time and scheduled delivery. They gave a 3-6 week delivery time frame. Currently it now into the 12th week and still no delivery. They have never answered email request that I have sent. Myself and my wife have called numerous times and have been promised it will ship in next few days or within the week. Each time they have excuse waiting for frame, waiting for border. They have never called to say it is complete or it has shipped. At this point I am assuming this is a write off but want the good visitors to New Orleans to know about this place.Any help getting the product or refund would be greatly appreciated.Desired Settlement: Either product delivered or refund.
