I am responding to a complaint filed by Ms. [redacted], ID # [redacted]. I received an On-Line credit application for a vehicle from Ms. [redacted] on 2/20/2017 at 9:20 AM. I contacted Ms. [redacted] by phone, on the 20th, to talk to her about her application and vehicle she was applying for, 2009 Dodge...

Avenger SE, and to tell her I needed her Social Security Number and explained why we do not ask for it On-Line, because of identity thief. She then told me she was referred by a friend that bought a car from me a few months earlier. I ask if she knew what her credit score was and she didn't know but she said that it was probably really bad because she had a reposing a few months ago. I let her know that we can get anyone financed no matter how bad the credit was, and then explained how Sub-Prime Financing works. Ms. [redacted] then told me she has $1,500 to put down as her Down Payment and that is all she can come up with. I then told her I would run the Application on the vehicle she was applying for and would call her back as soon as I received the Call-Back for the Finance Company. Later that day I received the Call-Back and then called Ms. [redacted] back. I informed her that unfortunately she did not Qualify for the 2009 Dodge Avenger but did qualify for 3 other vehicles, a 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier, a 2006 Hyundia Sonata and a 2007 Hyundia Sonata. Ms. [redacted] ask if I could take pictures of the 2007Hyundia Sonata and text them to her so she could see what the car looked liked. I told her I would and within 15 minutes I sent the text. Ms. [redacted] then text me back and said she would be down the next day to test drive it and if all went well she would purchase the vehicle. The next day Ms. [redacted] text me that she was on her way over. About two hours later she text me and said that the person that was bringing her over, one of their children got sick and had to turn back so she was coming in the morning. The next morning she text me and said that she now didn't have a ride over and she didn't know when she could get over and that she is really disappointed and she has been crying all morning because she was really looking forward to getting a vehicle again. I then called and talked to Ms. [redacted] about the whole thing and I decided to deliver the 2007 Hyundia Sonata to her in Johnstown at 5:00 PM that evening. I arrived about 6:00 PM and meet Ms. [redacted]. At that time we went into her house to do the paperwork. Ms. [redacted] had her brother check the vehicle out and test drive it and when he came back in he told her it was a good vehicle and we then signed all of the paperwork for both the Finance Company and the PA State DOT Motor Vehicle Department. Ms. [redacted] also received a warranty that we apply to all vehicles sold, a [redacted] Powertrain Plan Warranty, 3Mns./4,500 miles. Ms. [redacted] received a copy of all paperwork signed.About three or four weeks later Ms. [redacted] called me and said that the timing chain had broken on the vehicle she bought from me and wanted to know where to take it to get fixed and I told her I didn't know where to take it in Johnstown but I would get ahold of my Rep. from [redacted] and have him contact her and give her a few places she can take it to. My Reps. Name is [redacted] and he referred her to [redacted] Auto Repair and Sales, and two other business as well. Ms. [redacted] said she would take it to [redacted]'s because they where close to where she lived. Ms. [redacted] took her vehicle to [redacted]'s but they told her she would have to pay for the engine tear down if found that the engine was damaged do to her driving the vehicle after the timing chain broke. Ms. [redacted] called me and told me that she can not afford to pay to have her car fixed by [redacted] Auto Repair and Sales and she is taking the car back to her house because [redacted] was going to charge her lot rent if she isn't going to have her car fixed by them. I then called my Rep. for [redacted], and ask him what the qualifications were to have a vehicle fixed by a mechanic. [redacted] told me that as long as the Garage was open to the public and was certified by the State of PA, the garage can fix the vehicle and [redacted] Warranty will pay to fix the vehicle in question. I then called Ms. [redacted] and left her know that she can take the vehicle to her Mechanic, where she is comfortable, and have her vehicle fixed and covered by the warranty. Ms. [redacted] thanked me and said that is where she was taking her vehicle to get fixed. I told her to let me know if she needed anything else or had any more problems with the vehicle. Once again she thanked me for all my help and I didn't here from her for about Three weeks. That is when she said she was coming over to the lot with her farther to get her money back and I can keep the vehicle because she didn't get it fixed. I don't understand why Ms. [redacted] didn't get her car fixed because she had a warranty that cover the timing chain, the Labor cost, the rental car and the towing. I did everything I could for Ms. [redacted], I even drove the vehicle over to her in Johnstown, PA, which is about 46 miles one way from our lot on Union Ave,, Altoona, PA. I paid my Detailer to follow me over, stay till I sign all the paperwork then bring me back to Altoona, a total of 5 hours ($50) that I paid for. Ms [redacted] had bad credit so I had to use sub-prime Financing through Mid-[redacted] Finance Company. Ms. [redacted] said if she didn't get a vehicle soon she would probably loose her job, so I worked hard on her application and did everything possible to make sure she got a vehicle.I am sending along with this reply letter all of the paperwork for this deal including the Finance paperwork, the PA State DOT dept, of Motor Vehicles paperwork and the Warranty paperwork.  I also saved 14 Text Messages from Ms. [redacted] stating all the conversations I had with Ms. [redacted] about getting her car fixed, if you call me and give me a cell number I can forward all the texts she sent me. You can also contact my Rep. for [redacted] Protection Plus Warranty Company, [redacted]—###-###-#### [redacted]'s Cell Number. The main Company number is ###-###-####. If you have any question, Please feel free to call or Email me at Union Ave. Lot# ###-###-####, my personal cell # ###-###-####, my Email: [redacted]

Review: I purchased a 2007 ford explorer from Andy at Vince auto he sold us a warrenty that covers everything for the price of $2,000.00 that we paid ,here it is 6 months after I purchased car an have a cracked radiator an new a wheel barring id took it to the hop where I have to pay out of pocket to find out what was wrong an they said the [redacted] warranty doesn't cover it , I called Andy he want us to keep taking our car to other people whic would cost everytime someone looks at it instead of helping us he is having us have to pay more . I owe over what they sold me car for , an had to pay 2,000.00 for a warranty . I now reviewed aul an vinces online an they both have awful reviews an similar complains !Desired Settlement: I would like the money back for the warranty that the sales man said covered everything that didn't cover nothing an a reins for the shops to look at my vehicle !

Review: I was in a pinch and they knew that. I needed a vehicle to get me to and from work, so I stopped at the lot to see what they had. The salesman came out and we started dickering on a 2005 Jeep Liberty Sport. He gave me a price if I was going to do a buy here pay here, and a price if I was going to get standard financing. I was interested in the standard financing. We started dickering on the price for that and I agreed to $5000. He told me that I would have to put $1000 down, and I agreed. There was some issues with the Jeep. There was an issue with the back window, the shocks that hold the hood opened, and the front bumper was cracked. In the 5 hours it took to buy the vehicle, it was arranged that my Jeep that had broken down the previous day would be traded in for it and they would give me $500. Also, they would fix the window problem and fix the cracked bumper. They have yet to fix the bumper but it has only been 5 days, and I got the window problem fixed, it was something very simple. My problem is though, if you do the math, I agreed to $5000 - $1000 I put down - $500 for my Jeep, that would have left $3500 I was financing plus taxes, notary fees, and plate transfer fee. I was reviewing my contract recently and they financed $7000. That is twice as much as what was agreed upon.Desired Settlement: I believe that they need to contact the loan company and adjust the loan amount.
