This is still being addressed, nowhere have we hinted at or said that we will not be repairing this I feel this an important note It has still been less than month since the initial report of the vinyl failure on the sunroof We did immediately respond While we could have communicated better, it did take a couple weeks for us to get information from the manufacturer of the vinyl, and we are now in the height of our busiest time Given the scope of the project and, the current condition of the remaining vinyl, and the more than accommodating service we had given [redacted] to begin with, we do not feel that this warrants a formal complaint to the Bureau In addition, as stated by the customer in his complaint, he has not made excessive attempts to contact us either ( Prior to the installation and during the installation we had several communications from ***, including over phone calls the morning of the installation requesting photos for a journal he keeps on his carWhich, we did provide several, again, begin very accommodating) So the lack of communication form [redacted] after the vinyl had failed also led us to assume ( maybe a wrong assumption ) that this was not a high priority for ***We were more than accommodating to the customer during the initial installation He had been to other shops and was not even getting any attention We met with him and had the installation done in what I believe to be to weeks after the initial( We had also provided renderings for no cost) We lowered our price to fit his budget, even though the job we did for him was a $700-$dollar job We also provided him with a ride to his home since he was unable to make accommodations ( at no charge ) We are now in the height of our busiest time, and have a very busy schedule We immediately responded to the customer on May 13th after he had sent the initial e-mail and photos This is not something that we had experienced before, so we wanted to do our research before moving on The stripes are still in tact on the rest of the car, and it does not look bad or half finished There is no advertisement or information missing, so we do not feel that it warrants an emergency repair ( ie if a phone number had fallen off a commercial wrap and their was no way for the customer to get calls ) We were also not provided photos of the vinyl falling off the car The provided photos were after [redacted] had completely removed the vinyl form the sunroof ( we are not making any accusations, but it does make it difficult to as the situation fully if something had caught and torn the vinyl for example ) We have not been able to physically speak with the customer yet, which is what we are waiting for to move forward with this issue
