Review: On October 4, 2014, I went in to Vineyard Dental & Orthodontics to get a routine cleaning done. I lay down on the chair (after waiting for an hour after my appointment time)and my teeth were looked at. I was then told they were going to do a deep cleaning on my teeth. As a young college student I hesitated and asked how much it was going to cost, as I didn't have any extra money to spend. The doctor and the receptionist assured me it was going to be free because my insurance would cover it. As I was being told about my treatment plan for my cavities, the doctor brought up that she thought I needed Invisalign. I was told to apply for a care credit credit card in order to put the down payment down on my Invisalign, as they wanted me to get started as soon as possible. The same day they took my dental molds, pictures, and x-rays. I gave them my Care Credit account number and I was all set to go. In December I started getting charged for my Invisalign trays, which I had not received. In October I was told it would only take 2 weeks to get my first set of trays. I had called many different times to see what the hold up was and always got a different excuse. I have left messages that have gone unanswered. I decided to cancel my order. Now that I have done this, they are denying that the $1100 down payment was for the Invisalign and that it was actually for my deep cleaning. My insurance statement, however, says that they were charged for the deep cleaning. They refuse to admit that they are making false billing charges and are essentially committing fraud. They refuse to release any paperwork I have signed including my billing statement in attempt to save themselves. I have put a claim in with my insurance provider, the credit card provider, and will put a complaint in with the dental association as well. Vineyard Dental & Orthodontics has given me the WORST customer service I have ever received and are now trying to con my insurance provider, credit card company, and me.Desired Settlement: All I want is for my charges for my Invisalign down payment and trays to be dissolved. All other services I actually received I will pay for.
