I am a local General Contractor who has worked with V&S on two occasions but recently incurred a problem with a toilet flush valve which was supplied and installed by V&SThe flush valve was defective and inoperable and needed to be replacedRather than replacing the valve and working with their manufacturer to replace the defective part they had the manufacturer visit the site and send a replacement part to the customer
V&S was non-responsive and hard to get a commitment for replacing the partWhen we would get an appointment for replacement V&S would be a no-show and never had any follow up as to why until confrontedExcuses, missed appointments and months went by before the final notice from V&S that this was not their problem and that we would need to resolve this on our own
We have contacted another firm to clean up the mess and will now be required to pay for the same work twiceThis work was within a industry standard one-year warranty period but not honored
The final straw was when I received an email from the owner of V&S that this was my mess and I should pay someone else to perform the warranty call and to "lose my email"
I do not recommend using V&SUnprofessional, unresponsive, difficult to lock down on dates, issues with follow through and challenges to manage this firm
