I am rejecting this response because:
What third party vendors does Vinson Mortgage engage with? I would like to know the specific vendors' names please. I do not believe Vinson's claim that the language used in the letter was simply a misinterpretation, misinformation, or a recent change to my own historyIf that is considered a credible excuse, Vinson could make any claim about my mortgage, use any language and just say, "Oh, oops, not our fault, must have been the information we received." I believe Vinson to be intentionally misleading in the letter's word choice in an attempt to trick homeownersAnd while it may be true that proposed restrictions on 2ND MORTGAGES could potentially limit a homeowner's ability to deduct the interest ON THE 2ND MORTGAGE, the letter that they sent me did not say "2nd mortgage" specifically, it just said "Mortgage interest will no longer be tax deductible" which is a CLAIM

\r\n I was pre approved for a USDA loan in July of for a new home buildI work with a Garret who for over six months told me the loan was fineThree days before we were set to close and move into our new house, I received a phone call from Garret saying the loan was deniedGarret had over six months to work on this loan and waited until three days before we close to start to do his jobHe never responded to my phone calls or emails in a timely manor on top of all thisPLEASE look at other Mortgage Companies before working with Vinson MortgageI found another lender and was able to save our house and we were able to close with a new lender in less than three weeksI would hate to know that another family almost became homeless like me thanks to an incompetent loan officerThere is more to how awful this \" experience\" than I can write on a Google review, but I hope I got my point across

We appreciate the consumer bringing this matter to our attention. Vinson Mortgage engages with third party vendors to accumulate basic, general information which is readily available in various public forums and to send mailers to consumers advising of Vinson Mortgage's products and
servicesAny incorrect information regarding the consumer's mortgage(s) on this mailer would be based on a misinterpretation of those public records, misinformation on the public records, or perhaps a recent change to the consumer's mortgage history. Further, our research indicates that there are proposed restrictions on 2nd mortgages that go in to effect in that would limit an individuals ability to fully deduct the interest on certain 2nd mortgages. As always, each consumer should check with their own tax adviser to determine how tax laws impact their individual taxes. Vinson Mortgage will ask that this consumer's name be removed from the third party vendor's mail list. In the meantime, the consumer is free to dispose of any unwanted mail. In the event that this consumer would like to address their concern in more detail, they are welcome to contact Vinson Mortgage at *** and ask for *** ***, COO of Vinson Mortgage

Over the years Vinson Mortgage has received consumer feedback regarding its advertising and marketing practicesFrom comments about the nasal voice of our founder to remarks about the repetitive twang of the ninety-nine, ninety-nine, Vinson Mortgage has always respected the opinion of our prospective clienteleUnfortunately, we can not please everyone with the "style" associated with our marketing practices, but we continue to serve those consumers who do favorably respond to these solicitations
In this instance, we would like to point out that there was no private information contained in or on the solicitation that went to Mr***The mailer he references is a generic marketing piece sent to consumers in various geographical areasThese mailers do not contain any private dataThe only unique information is the name of the recipient and, of course, the recipient's mailing address
We are disappointed to learn of Mr***'s misunderstandingHowever, Vinson Mortgage has been able to reach thousands of people over the years through its advertising mediums and ultimately help these individuals with their mortgage needsIn spite of our difference in opinion with Mr*** on our marketing efforts, we hope that Mr*** will have the same confidence in Vinson Mortgage that thousands of others have for any of his mortgage related needs

Vinson Mortgage strives to find a mortgage solution for each prospective borrower that comes in contact with our Company.  However, Vinson Mortgage's role in that process is limited by various rules and regulations set by third party Banks and Lenders as well as various Federal and State laws....

  Vinson Mortgage, nor it's employees, have the capacity to make promises or assurances to any prospective borrower regarding the borrower's ability to obtain financing.  Further, in spite of the issues Ms. [redacted]' has raised here, Vinson Mortgage has little or no influence on the third party costs associated with obtaining a mortgage.  This philosophy is expressed to each and every prospective borrower, both verbally and in writing. Vinson Mortgage has reviewed Ms. [redacted]' concerns and has concluded that she was properly and fully apprised of her mortgage options and that her file contains all relevant disclosures as required by law.  The review of the file did not uncover any evidence of wrongdoing by Vinson Mortgage or its employees.   While it is regrettable that Ms. [redacted] was dissatisfied with her experience at Vinson Mortgage, we will be happy to continue to work with her to review any additional financing options should she wish to do so.

Vinson Mortgage had been working diligently with the consumer to resolve the underlying concerns raised in this complaint and we believed those concerns to have been resolved prior to receiving notice of this complaint.  Vinson Mortgage strives to find a viable loan for each prospective...

borrower in an efficient and cost-effective manner.  When no viable option exists, we work with the consumer to educate and re-position the consumer for future borrowing eligibility.  At the present time, Ms. [redacted] has indicated that she is satisfied with the outcome in her dealings with Vinson Mortgage and we look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship with her going forward.

DO NOT FINANCE THROUGH Vinson Mortgage! The company and staff are deceptive and take the advantage of the buyer. The process was a nightmare and full of agony and misinformation sloppy account management and poor communication. Beware. Vinson will take advantage of you and your finances. You will not realize you and your finances are taken advantage of until it is too late to rectify. This negative response is not about money. It is about life dreams and hard work misled buy a company that does not care. They only care about their personal interest. Do not go there. There are too many other places to work with.

It had been previously explained to us that mailers can sometimes be disregarded by delivery personnel and/or those responsible for inserting mailers into p.o. boxes. Vinson Mortgage invests valuable resources on spreading its message to the St. Louis community about the opportunity and services it provides. In an effort to minimize improper displacement of the mailers, the notice was intended to be a reminder of the consequences associated with interfering with any piece of mail to the extent it is not delivered to the addressee.
We will make an effort to pass along your request to be removed from the third party agency's mailer list. To the extent that request is possible, you may no longer receive other mailers from other organizations that also use this agency for their mailing list. To the extent that request is not possible, you are certainly free to simply dispose of the mailer.
Vinson Mortgage appreciates you taking the time to correspond on this matter and we look forward to any opportunity to serve your mortgage-related needs as they may arise.

I am rejecting this response because: matter is still not resolved. There is still a complete lack of competence, poor communication, and constant last second requests. I need closing costs plus moving expenses paid in full and signed and notarized by Vinson for a positive resolution.

will clear up the matter going forward. The third party marketing firm that was responsible for the mailer campaign had your information on their mailing list and your data was independently obtained by this firm. We have notified this firm that you no longer wish to receive marketing material via mail. In the event that you continue to receive mailers, please let us know and we will do our best to communicate your wishes. Otherwise, you are free to simply dispose of the mailer upon receipt. In spite of your desire to be removed from our contact list, we hope that you will consider Vinson Mortgage in the future for any of your mortgage related needs.

I'm glad to finally get a responce. Why should it take a formal complaint to get off a mailing list? If I do not receive any more phone calls I will be happy. Letters will go to the recycle bin. Phone calls are annoyning.
I certainly am NOT part of their family of consumers!
