Paid Kurt [redacted] to appraise a 47 year old collector car for me that was consigned in Indianapolis. [redacted] raved about the car and stated it " needs to be driven". I bought the car and attempted to drive it home. It did not make it half way ( About 500 miles). And had to rent a truck and trailer to get the car home. There were so many things wrong with the car, both cosmetically and mechanically, that I had to check the VIN to make sure we were looking and talking about the same car.
[redacted] claims numerous credentials and experience. They were not evident in this case.
I have requested restitution for his fee and truck/trailer charges and have heard nothing. All this leads me to question his ethics.
