Dear ***, I received the above referenced complaint and would like to respond On September 15, 2105, [redacted] Hannan consigned four items with our store- two end tables and two lampsOne tableand one lamp sold during the month of September and [redacted] was paid in OctoberThe other table and lamp remainedunsold until the first weekend in April [redacted] came Into the store shortly after the items sold In April and was told by my employee that the Items had sold[redacted] left a message with my employee requesting that I callDue to medical conditions, I was not in the shop very muchduring the months of April and MayI saw the note when I checked in, but failed to return the call Our contract states that Items sold will be invoiced and paid the following monthPer the terms of our contract, the twoitems sold were invoiced on May 1St~Checks went out May 24, which was a few days late due to my surgery.According to my bank, ***' check cleared on June 2, Per the terms of our contract, we are allowed to discount any item remaining on the floor for longer than ninety days.We are allowed to discount up to 50%After over six months on the floor, we marked down the $Item to $and the$item to $ [redacted] received a check for $93.50, which is 50% of the total sales price of $ We do not notify our clients when an item has sold, other than paying them the following monthWe make no claim Inour contract that we will notify them other than Issuing payment I was negligent in not returning ***' phone callThat was discourteous of meI was not working up to par due tomedical issuesl have mailed [redacted] a note of apology Attached are copies of all paperwork InvolvedPlease contact me If you have further concerns Respectfully,Carol S*** VIntage Blue Warehouse Estate Sales541-999-

This is regarding my complaint ID *** The said business did in fact send me a check for $93.00. I'm guessing that was after you notified them. There was no note or explanation. That is fine. They got the message. Thank you for your help. ***

[redacted] came Into the store shortly after the items sold In April and was told by my employee that the Items had sold.[redacted] left a message with my employee requesting that I call. Due to medical conditions, I was not in the shop very muchduring the months of April and May. I saw the note when I checked in, but failed to return the call.

Per the terms of our contract, we are allowed to discount any item remaining on the floor for longer than ninety days.We are allowed to discount up to 50%. After over six months on the floor, we marked down the $98 Item to $72 and the$130 item to $115. [redacted] received a check for $93.50, which is 50% of the total sales price of $187.
We do not notify our clients when an item has sold, other than paying them the following month. We make no claim Inour contract that we will notify them other than Issuing payment.
I was negligent in not returning [redacted]' phone call. That was discourteous of me. I was not working up to par due tomedical issues. l have mailed [redacted] a note of apology.
