Gloria wrote up the sales ticket which is the attachment to this email The sales tag did not represent the horse was wooden nor did Ursula. MrsHoffpauir held the statue and looked it over closely and per her letter states the horse 'appeared' to be wooden to her. The statue does 'look' wooden but it does not 'feel' wooden I received a call on Feb from Devonne that MrsHoffpauir was in the store to return the statue and slammed it down on the floor. Devonne told me it sounded like it broke. Devonne called Ursula and told her MrsHoffpauir wanted to return the horse and Ursula agreed as long as it was in the condition it was when purchased which was unbroken/undamaged. MrsHoffpauir left with the statue and returned with it at a later date MrsHoffpauir ultimately left the statue at Vintage and Ursula and I ultimately looked it over and found the base was cracked and a divot was in the side of the statue. Ursula said this was not the condition it was sold in so a return was not possible. I contacted MrsHoffpauir to communicate such to her and she began screaming at me over the phonenot speaking loudlyscreaming. I told her that if she could not quit screaming I was hanging up which I did as she did not stop. She likely never heard anything I was trying to communicate beyond 'we could not accept the statue back as it was damaged after purchase'. The horse is currently at Vintage and MrsHoffpauir may come and pick it up until March 31st at which time it will be donated as we cannot continue to store it for her. Sincerely, MsHanson Vintage Gifts and Antiques Jones Road Houston, Tx 281-897-
