Wow ***, such great detail How about sending the footage of me when I sat in the vehicle and supposedly checked the electronics One would anticipate seeing the left, than the right indicator come on then the headlights I bet absolutely NONE of these activities would be visible to anyone's eye should you happen to come forth with the footage. For someone who considers themselves an auto specialist, YOU have a duty of care to ensure that the work you entered into contract with me to perform, WAS in fact actually performed to my satisfaction BEFORE I left your premises So, so many other auto dealerships I've dealt with institute this form of service in ALL of their transactions Why didn't you ask me to check and ensure I was happy with the level of workmanship on my vehicle? Why didn't you have me sit in my vehicle and ensure a quick test of the electrical was done before I left? Irrespective of what my plans are with my vehicle IT SHOULD BE OF NO CONSEQUENCE on the type of service you render.Yes, my budget is $5,but I do not have to choose to spend that entire amount at just your location (thank goodness, I didn't) I took your estimate and I CHOSE what I wanted to fix first Do you remember, you broke down the prices I chose two of these estimatesAs I stately very clearly in my previous email, the problem is your work is sub par You are a liar and a charlatan Had I taken a look at the Revdex.com website prior to deciding to bring my vehicle to you, I most definitely would be $1,richer Your reputation of bad repair work is woeful [redacted]

On December 14, I purchased a Rolls Royce Silver Spur Vin Number SCAZN19E7XCXXXXXX For the Sum of $55,dollars purchase contract # Based on the repair work that was stated on the Repair Order #XXXXX, The car was shipped from Vintage Motor Works by Millionaire Auto Transport January 6, and delivered to Seattle January 15, at Hrs The transport driver removed the car from the transporter, I drove the two blocks to my driveway I noticed that the brake pedal went all the way to the floor and the car barely stopped and at that time I noticed that the Brake Pressure indicator light was on every time I applied the brakes, at Hrs I drove the car to The Rolls Royce Connection service and repair shop the repair technician diagnosed the problem and indicated the front brake accumulators were defective and the front spheres had a nitrogen leak after completing the brake pedal pump test, While and the repair shop at Hrs I called Mr [redacted] and advised him

I would like for Kory to review the attached pictures and respond to my complaint as soon as possible

Concerning [redacted] The money paid was not for putting the motor back together, it was for taking it apart, we had many hours in labor working on the truck before he cancelled the workThat labor has to be paid forHe would not go to work and not get paid nor would youWhy should I have to do work, and not get paidThere will be no refund due to he authorized the repairs, then stopped during workI will not go to mediation

First off you don't know me or anything about me, second you never ask for your keys and it's company policy not to give them until the car is paid forAlso since you will only walked into two of the seven rooms that I have in the office area and you never went upstairs nor in the shop how would you know how many people were here? Yes I have multiple cameras inside and out, two that had your car in view before you left I also have multiple signs stating that there are camerasYour wife was parked in front of a yellow one that was on the fenceWhen you and your friend came by to drop off the car boasting about your $5,budget ( after I told you everything that was wrong that budget fell to the cheapest things) nothing was ever said about the handbrake to me or my employee that was standing here with me, it worked just fine since the car was on an incline and the emergency brake was holding it before you leftAnd yes you did sit in the car for a few minutes before you leftYou got in your car and sat there while I was putting the paperwork away that took a few minutes you were still there after I went out into the shop and started work on another vehicleThat vehicle did not have half a tank of gas when it was left here I seriously doubt that it only takes half a tank of gas to get here from your house in Houston, do you have pics to prove that it was half full? And since the car is over years old and wires were shorted out burned broke cut and stuffed in multiple places it takes time to track all that down and to get it put back rightSince you declined so much work and only wanted just what you thought needed to be done and as cheap as possible to be able to sell so that you could pass a vehicle thats has multiple issues on to someone else so that it is there issue to fix

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:
The majority of what was stated in the response is untrueI have witnesses that will confirm what I have stated Some specific inaccurate statements include (but are not limited to): I never told him what to replace or repairIn fact I specifically td him several times that I wanted the ac to be repaired so that it worked properlyWhen he got into the parts I advised him that I wanted to know the most cost effective way of fixing it correctly as he was the mechanicIf I could repair it I would haveHe is the one that stated that replacing the compressor, dryer, and condenser was the way to fix the systemUltimately he never replaced the condenser finally deciding that it was fine after allAs he is the mechanic I said that was fineOnce done, over the phone he advised that it was fixed properly and working as it should and he didn't just tell this to meIt still didn't workFurther, the vehicle runs very rough, dying at stoplights etc., which can also be verified by a third party and this wasn't even a problem before I brought it to himThe entire vacuum line system is missingAccording to ***, it wasn't there when be got the car but he never mentioned anything about it until it was pointed out to him about three weeks ago (he's had the vehicle since late May/early June) and he's pulled the engine twice according to him.I would think this would have been noticed by a mechanic as would a diagnostic of the entire ac system before telling me what was neededWhen all of this was told to home by both me and *** ***, *** claimed that his mechanic did a bad job and he was unaware of itWhen pressed about this *** stated that I should ask him (his mechanic) as I had "more access" to him the Jefferson CoJail than he (***) didI did not answer that as it was absurd since this had nothing to do with me and his mechanic nor me and by jobWith regards to the Cadillac, *** agreed to move the vehicle to his shopI took him to the Front End Shop in mid county and showed him where it was and in what conditionI asked what that would cost and he said don't worry about itI said that I needed to know (for my budget)Be said, "just buy me lunch"I said if he would moved it, I would buy lunch for him and all of his crewI did, in fact, buy him lunch at Fudruckers at a later dateHe did not bring his crewI had *** (and possibly another friend with me as well) an the subject came upI specifically asked if he was sure I didn't owe anything else on the Cadillac and he said noI was not being nieve and I assumed he thought he would make it up on the Cadillac repairs so I specifically said I would need to know an accurate estimate on the Cadillac and a layout of what all was to be done before we came to any agreement in order to make sure I didn't go over my budgetAlthough *** gave me a few prices on some specific parts, he never gave me an estimate in writing describing the how he would do the restoration nor any idea of the total cost even though be said he could do so when we first discussed the projectHe didn't even give me an estimate when he changed locations from Delmar to CollegeI distinctly remember telling him to just rebuild the original engine and use the recently rebuilt transmissionI even told him in person because he came by my residence to borrow my trailer to help him in his moveHe stated that he would have to get paid as work was completed instead of waiting until the job was completly doneThis made me nervous but I reluctantly agreed with the caveat that he give me the estimate first and I told him to get startedNo work was ever done on the car and, in fact it was never moved to the new locationI wasn't even aware that he had no access to it until a month or so later when *** *** and went to Beaumont to pick up the Trans Am the first time and get my trailer back which *** had not returnedI didn't see the Cadillac at the new location nor did I see it the next day when we returned the Trans Am because it was running so poorly, overheating, the ac wasn't workingI came back to check on my car about two weeks later (actually I came twice because once on Tuesday when I went no one was there and the Trans Am was sitting on flat tires in the same place we had parked it originally)When I was finally able to speak with *** again, he finally told me that the Cadillac was still in his old shop on Delmar and that the property owner wouldn't allow him access to it or any of his other propertyHe also confirmed this information in a phone call with meI never once heard of this $bill or any other outstanding bill relating to the Cadillac until this past TuesdayI would never have agreed to it and I certainly never signed a work order for itIn addition, since this was towed several months ago, he certainly had time to produce one if it existedIt was only what he was in a bind with regards to money to gain access to his former business location did this ever come upI am out over $3500, months of waiting, time and resources and the only thing I have to show for it is a missing car and one that runs worse than it did originallyI am having the Trans Am diagnosed by another mechanic at my own expense to determine what it really needs and what was really doneAs for the Cadillac, I will pursue whatever legal means are necessary for its returnPublic libel can certainly cause loss and will be pursued by similar legal meansI will not respond to the ludicrous accusation of a guilty consciousEven taking into account a mistaken lapse in memory (possibly understandable given the amount of time Mr*** had these vehicles) what has been said and written by Mr*** are out and out lies in an attempt to extort money which I do not owe in order to dig himself out whatever financial hole he believes himself to be in all to keep me from gaining possession of my own car which has had no work done on it at all
Sincerely,*** ***

Morning ***, i'm sorry that you are dissatisfied, Everything worked an hour before you left I checked the lights myselfAlso before you left my employees and I saw you check them they all worked at that timeLike we discussed earlier, the vehicle had many issues that you did not want to
fix, you just wanted a band aid so that you could sell it without putting very much money into the carWith a car that old there are always problems, and when the customer is not willing to do the proper repairs, they cannot have a perfect vehicleAll work has a warranty, I told you that the entire care needed to be rewired Du to the electrical issuesYou stated you couldn't afford that, so I did what I could for the budget you gave meI also did additional work for free that I expressed to you when you picked up the vehicle trying to help youAs far as the knob from headlight switch, the switch was not in car when you delivered it to me, it was loose under hood not installed in dashI found the original knob in ashtray and put it on the switch after it was installedIf there where any parts that where taken off car to be replaced with new that you wanted to keep should have been brought to my attention before work was authorized, not a week after completion, that was all listed in the paper you were given when vehicle was dropped off and said that you understood. thank you ***

I would like to seek mediation to help resolve this matter. *** ***

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:
In his email he says that the cost was for the diagnostic of the truck , and for putting it back togetherAll he ever quoted to diagnose the truck was $175.00, he also said that I stopped the work after he had started the diagnosis of the truck, well first he told me he repairs would cost $2,then weeks later after he said he did not have the tools to make the repairs, and I went and got him the toolsHe then calls me and tells me that the repairs are now going to cost $6,or $7,depending on which way I wanted to proceedAt this point yes I did tell him to stop the work because I did not have that amount of moneyHe had made No repairs at all to the truck, however he did take the truck apart, misplace several parts and pieces to my truck, that cost me several hundreds of dollars to replaceI had called him several times asking him if I could pick up the pieces that he had kept off he truck and he would not call me back, then he stopped answering my phone calls.Thank you,*** ***

The first thing is, I do not own Vintage MotorworksMr *** first brought his trans am to my shop, he had just recently picked it up from another shop after having them do some repairsinstead of letting them fix there mistakes he wanted me to fix itthe problem he was having was the radio
and a/c blower motor did not workHe also wanted the engine compartment cleaned up some because he is wanting to sell the vehicleI agreed to the job and began working on the electrical issuesonce they where fixed I noticed that the a/c system did not work very wellI recommended a full vintage air a/c systemit would have replaced all the old worn out components with all new under the dash and under hood partsthe old original systems do not work well with the new refrigerant that we have now compared to what the system was designed forHe said no just replace with original parts under the hood, nothing under the dashthe vintage air system is quite a bit more expensive but much better and well worth the moneyhe said multiple times he was trying to sell the car and didn't want to spend a lot of moneyMy self and both of my mechanics tried recommending the vintage air system, but he refusedso I replaced the original under hood system, and it worked immensely betterbut there where still problems with the under dash parts, the plastic is almost years old and gets brittle, and was broken in multiple places, I even took pictures and showed himwhen we removed the engine to fix the oil leaks I noticed that the internals of the engine where wore out, and recommended a complete rebuild of the motor due to the wear and slack of internal partshe declined and just said to put it back together, with the new gasketsSo we didthe car had pinstripe that was pealing off in multiple locations, he asked me to take it off, so I didafter removing it noticed that someone had sprayed clear-coat up to the pinstripe but not under or past it in multiple locations, which left a line from the clear coathe asked what could be done about it, I said I could talk to a paint and body guy since That is not my areaThe paint and body guy recommended a wet sand, but said that he would not be able to make it perfect without completely sanding all of the old clear off and resprayingMr *** agreed to the wet sandThe a/c is working, and I did not cause a coolant leaka few months after the car was finished he brought it back and there was a slight leak, the hose was bad and the water outlet was corroded and developed a leaki told him of the parts that needed to be replaced he agreed to the repairsAfter the repairs he claimed he would not pay for themit was additional work and parts from the original jobHe does owe money for the repairsAs far as the Cadillac, while I was repairing the trans am, he asked if I would be willing to fix it also, I agreedsince the vehicle was at another shop and in multiple pieces, we had to have a rollback wrecker, my truck and a foot trailer completely loaded down to get all the partsI had to completely close my shop and bring all my mechanics to help get all the pieces loaded up and brought back to my shopthis caused me to stop production on all the other vehicles that where in the shopit took approximately hours to relocate the Cadillacguys hours each is hours of labor spent to get his vehicle that he agreed to pay to have relocated to my shopwe spoke many times about the vehicle and every time he would change his mind about the direction of the vehicleI spent many hours researching possibility for itbut he never gave the ok to start or a direction to goThe tow truck was $plus hours of labor @ $an hour (shop rate) totaled to over $1,he was told about that multiple timesi never asked for it at first because it was just part of the repair costsnow after doing a lot more work on the trans am that he is refusing to pay for I told him I needed the money for the Cadillac, it has been months and nothinghe said that he didn't owe me anything on the Cadillac, I reminded him of the tow bill and all the time the shop had put into relocating the carhe stated that was not his problem that he was not going to pay anythingSo I told him that if he didn't pay that I had the right to put a lean on it, and I do, and have started itI have access to the vehicle, I told him that if he wanted the car that we needed to pay, after he paid he could make arrangements to have it taken any where he likedThe paid in full bill was for the first repairs that was done months earliernot for the new ones after car was brought backthose are separate issuesi never posted anything with his name anywhere, if he is feeling guilty about something that is not my problemjust because I make a statement somewhere without any names doesn't mean its about himi hold to the repair costs, since he took the car without payment that is theft of services and it will be handled accordingly

I am rejecting this response because:[redacted],You are a liar and a charlatan.  I wouldn't expect anything less than this out of you, based on your shoddy workmanship.  How dare you lie to me by stating that your 'employees saw me check' my lights.  My wife and daughter were the one who dropped me off and sat there right out front, at the fence, in the black Toyota 4Runner.  They sat there the entire time and like me they saw no body except for you.  Just to refresh your memory, clear it of the deception, when we got there you WOULD NOT give me the keys until I paid you.  They nor I SAW ANYONE ELSE there at your complex.  Have you video camera footage to prove otherwise? After I paid you I got into my car and IMMEDIATELY left.  I went straight to the Chevron to get gas, where my wife and daughter verified that my left indicator was not working and I discovered that the emergency break was not fixed.  ALL of which I PAID YOU $1,640.00 to fix.  I had no intention to stop at the Chevron, if NOT for all of these issues the fact that I also had no gas was an un-welcomed surprise.  When I dropped it off it had half a tank.Blaming me for choosing to have a classic car as the problem, that's quite the mouthful.  YOU are supposed to be a classic car repairer.  You're a classic ripoff.  If you were worth your salt in the world of mechanics, it wouldn't have taken you 5 HOURS to troubleshoot a SIX FUSE electrical system.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

First off you don't know me or anything about me, second you never ask for your keys and it's company policy not to give them until the car is paid for. Also since you will only walked into two of the seven rooms that I have in the office area and you never went upstairs nor in the shop how would you know how many people were here? Yes I have multiple cameras inside and out, two that had your car in view before you left I also have multiple signs stating that there are cameras. Your wife was parked in front of a yellow one that was on the fence. When you and your friend came by to drop off the car boasting about your $5,000 budget ( after I told you everything that was wrong that budget fell to the 2 cheapest things) nothing was ever said about the handbrake to me or my employee that was standing here with me, it worked just fine since the car was on an incline and the emergency brake was holding it before you left. And yes you did sit in the car for a few minutes before you left. You got in your car and sat there while I was putting the paperwork away that took a few minutes you were still there after I went out into the shop and started work on another vehicle. That vehicle did not have half a tank of gas when it was left here I seriously doubt that it only takes half a tank of gas to get here from your house in Houston, do you have pics to prove that it was half full? And since the car is over 50 years old and wires were shorted out burned broke cut and stuffed in multiple places it takes time to track all that down and to get it put back right. Since you declined so much work and only wanted just what you thought needed to be done and as cheap as possible to be able to sell so that you could pass a vehicle thats has multiple issues on to someone else so that it is there issue to fix.

Concerning [redacted]The money paid was not for putting the motor back together, it was for taking it...

apart, we had many hours in labor working on the truck before he cancelled the work. That labor has to be paid for. He would not go to work and not get paid nor would you. Why should I have to do work, and not get paid. There will be no refund due to he authorized the repairs, then stopped during work. I will not go to mediation.

I would like for Kory to review the attached pictures and respond to my complaint as soon as possible.
