As a new hobbyist, I would expect personnel from a coral store to assist in many ways to augment different readingsTo be successful in this hobby one needs to conduct regular water changes to keep water perimeters stableI've purchased RO/DI water and mixed salt water from this company with very little success at the aforementionedAt corals galore they have two options for premixed salt water 1) Instant Ocean and 2) Red SeaRegardless of the brand, the levels should be between 9-dKH (Alkalinity) 420-460ish, and 1320-1420ish depending on how one wants their reef to beI purchased gallons of what I thought was Red Sea at $/gallonThankfully I tested the water with a Salifert dKH test kit before I dumped some in my tankIt was over 15dkH!!! How can a coral store be so neglegent? Had I did a water change with that level of Alkalinity, I could have killed over 1k worth of coralsCompletely unacceptableI wrote this review to provide new hobbyists a warning before purchasing water from this location

I have been a customer for months in the Freshwater portion of the storeEveryone is very helpful and there is a nice selection of fish ans plants Product selection and pricing is unmatched by anyone around here! Everyone in the store is very friendly and ready to answer all questions! BK

We received a complaint that a customer, *** ***, bought a new video game from us and didn't like the fact that we had taken the disc out of the case before we put on the floor (this is a loss prevention policy that is practiced by most companies like ours) The customer didn't mention
his concern in the store even though he had to bring the empty case to us for us to put the disc into it.On the customer sent an email with his complaint On we responded with questions concerning his purchase and confirmed that we would work to resolve the issue On the customer received communication that we had found a copy of the game (at a different store) and had it transferred to the store closest to his home We have yet to hear back from the customer.It is our opinion that we did everything we could to resolve this for the customer The customer asked for a new copy and we have one for him two days after he sent the initial complaint.We have included copies of all email communications with the customer

12/26/2017: Mediator called business and spoke to *** *** stated he would discuss the complaint with Paul Harris and one of them would get back to me*** requested complaint be emailed to ***.***@vintagestock.com(email sent)12/26/2017: (***) The customer went into the location on 9/05/at 11:AM and was able to return the game and receive his money backHe was then able to purchase the unopened game that he wanted and received a $store creditWe have documentation of thisThis was resolved in September

I am rejecting this response because:
I did respondedBut, I am currently out of town until 9/5//How do I supposed to pickup up a game when I am out of town?!?!As a video game collector, having a opened copy (New according to Vintage Stock and ***) can have major negative monetary effect on video games (and anything else)
For an example, a "New" unopened copy of "*** *** *** *** ***" goes for about $35,A opened complete in box of "*** *** *** *** ***" goes for about $11,That is a difference of about $23,586.81!

I've purchased RO/DI water and mixed salt water from this company with very little success at the aforementioned. At corals galore they have two options for premixed salt water 1) Instant Ocean and 2) Red Sea. Regardless of the brand, the levels should be between 9-12 dKH (Alkalinity) 420-460ish, and 1320-1420ish depending on how one wants their reef to be. I purchased 5 gallons of what I thought was Red Sea at $0.96 /gallon. Thankfully I tested the water with a Salifert dKH test kit before I dumped some in my tank. It was over 15dkH!!! How can a coral store be so neglegent? Had I did a water change with that level of Alkalinity, I could have killed over 1k worth of corals. Completely unacceptable. I wrote this review to provide new hobbyists a warning before purchasing water from this location.

I have been a customer for 6 months in the Freshwater portion of the store. Everyone is very helpful and there is a nice selection of fish ans plants.
Product selection and pricing is unmatched by anyone around here!
Everyone in the store is very friendly and ready to answer all questions!
