I purchased a table from this company and paid in advance directly to the shipper for delivery.They are now billing me extra for residential delivery.I paid in advance $117.11 to O[redacted] for delivery of a table to my home. I signed off that it was paid in full. First I received an additional bill for $65.00 for residential delivery. That charge is now up to $87.75. I called Vintage Studios and [redacted] (the owner) told me he would take care of it - that it was paid in full. On the second call, he said he had a great relationship with [redacted] and it would go away or he would eat the charge. Repeated phone calls, emails and texts have gone unanswered. No where was it written or mentioned that there was an additional charge for the delivery to my home. The table was deposited in my ground floor garage - there were no steps involved and the driver never entered my home past the garage.Desired SettlementMake this $87.75 delivery charge disappear. Contact Vintage Studios at [redacted] and let them know it is their responsibilty to alert a customer if there will be extra freight charges. Have Vintage Studios work with [redacted] to notify them that these are not the final charges. The shipper, [redacted] is who charged the customer a second bill. I don't have anything to do with it. The dispute is solely between the customer and the shipper, although I did call the shipper on the customer's behalf and didn't get anywhere. Consumer Response If the seller - Vintage Studios tells me that he has a great relationship with [redacted] and that he will take care of this charge, then I expect him to stand behind his word and take care of it. No where did he ever mention that there would be an extra charge for residential delivery. I never would have had this piece of furniture delivered to me had I been informed of an extra charge for residential delivery. Vintage Studios was not upfront about how much it would cost and he walked away from a customer putting the blame on the shipper. He did not take care of the charge as he said he would.
